2019 Sudirman Cup knockout stage

The knockout stage of the 2019 Sudirman Cup was the final stage of the competition, following the group stage. It began on 23 May with the quarter-finals and ended on 26 May with the final match of the tournament, held at Guangxi Sports Center in Nanning, China. For Group 1, the top two teams from each group (8 in total) advanced to the final knockout stage to compete in a single-elimination tournament. Teams from group 2 and 3 (16 in total) play round robin in respective subgroup and advanced to classification round to determine the overall placings, meanwhile teams from group 4 play in a single round robin format for final placings.

Thailand national football team

The Thailand national football team represents Thailand in senior international football and is controlled by the Football Association of Thailand.

The Thomas Cup, sometimes called the World Men's Team Championships, is an international badminton competition among teams representing member nations of the Badminton World Federation (BWF), the sport's global governing body. The championships have been conducted every two years since the 1982 tournament, amended from being conducted every three years since the first tournament held in 1948–1949.

The Sudirman Cup is the world mixed team badminton championship which takes place every two years. It is held in the same venue for the IBF World Championships in the same year until International Badminton Federation decided to split the two tournaments starting from 2003. There are five matches in every Sudirman Cup tie which consists of men and women's singles, men and women's doubles and mixed doubles. The cup is named after Dick Sudirman, a former Indonesian badminton player and the founder of the Badminton Association of Indonesia (PBSI). The first Sudirman Cup tournament took place in Istora Senayan, Jakarta, Indonesia on 24-29 May 1989.

The 2011 Sudirman Cup was the twelfth tournament of the Sudirman Cup. It was held from May 22–29, 2011 in Qingdao, China. According to the Badminton World Federation (BWF) 32 teams have confirmed their participation, for the first time twelve teams competed in the elite group to battle for the title.

2015 Sudirman Cup

The 2015 Sudirman Cup was the fourteenth tournament of the Sudirman Cup. It was held in Dongguan, China.

The group stage of the 2017 Sudirman Cup was the first stage of the competition. It began on 21 May and ended on 25 May, held at Carrara Sport and Leisure Centre in Gold Coast, Australia. The top two teams from each group advanced to the final knockout stage to compete in a single-elimination tournament. The teams from group 2 and 3 advanced to the final classification stage to compete in a single-elimination tournament.

2019 Sudirman Cup 2019 world mixed team badminton championships

The 2019 Sudirman Cup was the 16th edition of the Sudirman Cup, the biennial international badminton championship contested by the mixed national teams of the member associations of Badminton World Federation (BWF), since its inception in 1989. The tournament was played in Nanning, China, between 19 and 26 May 2019. Korea is the defending champion.

The North, Central American and Caribbean section of the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualification will act as qualifiers for the 2022 FIFA World Cup, to be held in Qatar, for national teams which are members of the Confederation of North, Central American and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF). Three direct slots and one inter-confederation play-off slot in the final tournament are available for CONCACAF teams.

2020 Thomas & Uber Cup

The 2021 Thomas & Uber Cup will be the 31st edition of the Thomas Cup and the 28th edition of the Uber Cup, the biennial international badminton championship contested by the men and women's national teams of the member associations of Badminton World Federation (BWF). The tournament will be hosted by Aarhus, Denmark.

The 2020 J.League Cup, known as the 2020 J.League YBC Levain Cup for sponsorship reasons, was the 28th edition of J.League Cup, a Japanese association football cup competition. It began on 16 February 2020 and ended on 4 January 2021.
