The 2019-20 Northeastern Huskies Men's ice hockey season was the 88th season of play for the program and the 36th season in the Hockey East conference. The Huskies represented Northeastern University and were coached by Jim Madigan, in his 9th season.
The Hockey East tournament as well as the NCAA Tournament were cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic before any games were played. [1] [2]

The Northeastern Huskies are the athletic teams representing Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. They compete in thirteen varsity team sports: men's and women's hockey ; men's baseball, men's and women's basketball, women's field hockey and volleyball, swimming, and men's and women's soccer, and men's and women's rowing, track and cross-country.
Kevin Roy is a Canadian professional ice hockey forward who is currently playing with Innsbruck HC of the Austrian Hockey League. Roy was selected by the Anaheim Ducks in the 4th round of the 2012 NHL Entry Draft. He played with the NCAA Men's Division I Northeastern Huskies in the Hockey East conference from 2012 to 2016.
The 2019–20 Boston College Eagles men's ice hockey team represented Boston College in the 2019–20 NCAA Division I men's ice hockey season. The team was coached by Jerry York, '67, his twenty-sixth season behind the bench at Boston College. The Eagles played their home games at Kelley Rink on the campus of Boston College, competing in Hockey East.
The 2019-20 UMass Lowell River Hawks Men's ice hockey season was the 53rd season of play for the program, the 37th season competing at the Division I level, and the 36th season in the Hockey East conference. The River Hawks represented the University of Massachusetts Lowell and were coached by Norm Bazin, in his 9th season.
