The 2021 2. divisjon (referred to as PostNord-ligaen for sponsorship reasons) is a Norwegian football third-tier league season. The league consists of 28 teams divided into 2 groups of 14 teams.
The league is played as a double round-robin tournament, where all teams play 26 matches. The season began on 19 June 2021 and will conclude on 14 November 2021. [1] [2]
Kongsvinger earned promotion from group 1 on 23 October 2021, three rounds before the end of the season. [3]

The four group-winners, Elverum, Kristiansund, Vard Haugesund and Follo was promoted to the 1. divisjon, while the bottom three teams in each groups was relegated to the 3. divisjon.
