The 2024 Kazakhstan Cup (known as the Fonbet Kazakhstan Cup for sponsorship reasons) is the 32nd season of the Kazakhstan Cup, the annual nationwide football cup competition of Kazakhstan since the independence of the country. Tobol are the defending champions. [1] [2]
On 7 March, the Kazakhstan Football League announced that 32 clubs would participate in the 2024 edition of the Kazakhstan Cup, commencing on 11 March and finishing on 29 September. [3]

The 2015 Kazakhstan Cup is the 24th season of the Kazakhstan Cup, the annual nationwide football cup competition of Kazakhstan since the independence of the country. The competition began on 29 March 2015 and will end with the final in November 2015. Kairat are the defending champions, having won their first cup in the 2014 competition.
The 2012 FC Kairat season was the 2nd successive season that the club playing in the Kazakhstan Premier League, the highest tier of association football in Kazakhstan, since their promotion back to the top flight in 2009. Kairat finished the season in 10th place and reached the Second Round of the Kazakhstan Cup.
The 2016 FC Astana season is the eighth successive season that the club will play in the Kazakhstan Premier League, the highest tier of association football in Kazakhstan. Astana are defending Kazakhstan Premier League Champions, having been crowned Champions for the second time the previous season. They will also participate in the Kazakhstan Cup and the Champions League, entering at the Second Qualifying Stage.
The 2016 Kazakhstan Cup was the 25th season of the Kazakhstan Cup, the annual nationwide football cup competition of Kazakhstan since the independence of the country. The competition began on 21 March 2016 and end with the final on 19 November 2016. Astana defeated defending champions Kairat 1–0 in the final to win their first Kazakhstan Cup since 2012.
The 2017 Kazakhstan Cup was the 26th season of the Kazakhstan Cup, the annual nationwide football cup competition of Kazakhstan since the independence of the country.
The 2017 FC Ordabasy season is their 15th season in the Kazakhstan Premier League, the highest tier of association football in Kazakhstan, following their promotion from to the Kazakhstan First Division in 2003. Ordabasy will also play in the UEFA Europa League and Kazakhstan Cup.
The 2017 FC Atyrau season is the 17th successive season that the club will play in the Kazakhstan Premier League, the highest tier of association football in Kazakhstan.
The 2018 Kazakhstan Premier League was the 27th season of the Kazakhstan Premier League, the highest football league competition in Kazakhstan. Astana defended their championship, winning the Premier League for a fifth time.
The 2018 FC Ordabasy season is the 16th successive season that the club will play in the Kazakhstan Premier League, the highest tier of association football in Kazakhstan. Ordabasy will also participate in the Kazakhstan Cup and the Europa League.
The 2018 Kazakhstan Cup is the 27th season of the Kazakhstan Cup, the annual nationwide football cup competition of Kazakhstan since the independence of the country.
The 2019 Kazakhstan Premier League was the 28th season of the Kazakhstan Premier League, the highest football league competition in Kazakhstan. FC Astana defended their title, winning the championship for the sixth season in a row, whilst FC Atyrau and FC Aktobe were relegated and FC Taraz survived a relegation playoff against FC Akzhayik.
The 2019 FC Zhetysu season was the club's second season back in the Kazakhstan Premier League following their relegation at the end of the 2016 season, and 22nd season in total. Zhetysu finished the season in 5th position, whilst being knockout out of the Kazakhstan Cup at the Last 16 stage by Atyrau.
The 2019 FC Taraz season was the club's first season back in the Kazakhstan Premier League following their relegation at the end of the 2017 season, and 28th season in total. Taraz finished the season in 10th position, qualifying for a two-legged Relegation play-off against FC Akzhayik. After a 0-0 draw in the first leg away in Oral, Taraz won the second leg 3-1 to retain their place in the Kazakhstan Premier League for the 2020 season. Taraz also participated in the Kazakhstan Cup, where they were defeated by FC Ordabasy in the Quarterfinals.
The 2019 FC Kaisar season is the club's third season back in the Kazakhstan Premier League, the highest tier of association football in Kazakhstan, and 22nd in total. Kaisar will also participate in the Kazakhstan Cup.
The 2019 Kazakhstan Cup was the 28th season of the Kazakhstan Cup, the annual nationwide football cup competition of Kazakhstan since the independence of the country. FC Kaisar defeated FC Atyrau in the final on 6 October 2019 to win their second Kazakhstan Cup.
The 2021 Kazakhstan Cup is the 29th season of the Kazakhstan Cup, the annual nationwide football cup competition of Kazakhstan since the independence of the country. FC Kaisar are defending champions having beaten FC Atyrau in the final on 6 October 2019 to win their second Kazakhstan Cup, with the 2020 edition of the cup being cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Kazakhstan.
The 2022 Kazakhstan Cup was the 30th season of the Kazakhstan Cup, the annual nationwide football cup competition of Kazakhstan since the independence of the country. The winners qualified for the 2023–24 UEFA Europa Conference League second qualifying round. FC Kairat were the defending champions, having beaten FC Shakhter Karagandy in the previous final.
