The 2025 Veikkausliiga is the upcoming 95th season of top-tier football in Finland, which takes place from April to November. Veikkaus is the league's sponsor. [1]

Teams

The league consists of twelve teams; ten teams remaining from the previous season, and two teams promoted from the Ykkösliiga. KuPS entered the season as defending champions after winning previous season.

KTP were promoted as champions of the 2024 Ykkösliiga, (returning to the top flight after only one year of absence). They replaced the bottom-placed teams of the 2024 Veikkausliiga, EIF and Lahti, (who were relegated after a single season and a 13-year stint in the top flight, respectively). Ykkösliiga runners-up Jaro were also promoted, returning to the top flight after a nine-year absence.
