The 2023 Kazakhstan Cup (known as the Fonbet Kazakhstan Cup for sponsorship reasons) was the 31st season of the Kazakhstan Cup, the annual nationwide football cup competition of Kazakhstan since the independence of the country. FC Ordabasy were the defending champions.
Tobol won the cup on 4 November 2023 with a win over Ordabasy, qualifying for the 2024–25 UEFA Europa League first qualifying round.
On 17 April, the Kazakhstan Professional Football League announced Russian betting company Fonbet as their new title sponsor. [1]

The Kazakhstan Professional Football League, commonly referred to as Kazakh Premier League or simply Premier League, is the top division of football in Kazakhstan. The League is controlled by the Football Federation of Kazakhstan and was set up in 1992. The League is fed into by the First Division and starts in spring and finishes in late autumn because of the low temperatures in the winter, with each championship corresponding to a calendar year. The majority of matches have been played at weekends in recent seasons.
The 2014 Kazakhstan Cup is the 23rd season of the Kazakhstan Cup, the annual nationwide football cup competition of Kazakhstan since the independence of the country. The competition begins on 22 April 2014, and will end with the final in November 2014. Shakhter Karagandy are the defending champions, having won their first cup in the 2013 competition.
The 2015 Kazakhstan Cup is the 24th season of the Kazakhstan Cup, the annual nationwide football cup competition of Kazakhstan since the independence of the country. The competition began on 29 March 2015 and will end with the final in November 2015. Kairat are the defending champions, having won their first cup in the 2014 competition.
The 2016 FC Atyrau season is the 16th successive season that the club will play in the Kazakhstan Premier League, the highest tier of association football in Kazakhstan.
The 2016 FC Tobol season is the 18th successive season that the club playing in the Kazakhstan Premier League, the highest tier of association football in Kazakhstan. Tobol finished the season 7th, top of the Relegation group, whilst the wear knocked out of the Kazakhstan Cup by Kyzylzhar at the last 16 stage.
The 2016 FC Zhetysu season is the 10th successive season that the club playing in the Kazakhstan Premier League, the highest tier of association football in Kazakhstan, and 20th in total. Zhetysu will also take part in the Kazakhstan Cup.
The 2016 Kazakhstan Cup was the 25th season of the Kazakhstan Cup, the annual nationwide football cup competition of Kazakhstan since the independence of the country. The competition began on 21 March 2016 and end with the final on 19 November 2016. Astana defeated defending champions Kairat 1–0 in the final to win their first Kazakhstan Cup since 2012.

The 2019 Kazakhstan Cup was the 28th season of the Kazakhstan Cup, the annual nationwide football cup competition of Kazakhstan since the independence of the country. FC Kaisar defeated FC Atyrau in the final on 6 October 2019 to win their second Kazakhstan Cup.
The 2021 FC Ordabasy season was the 19th successive season that Ordabasy played in the Kazakhstan Premier League, the highest tier of association football in Kazakhstan.
The 2021 FC Caspiy season was Caspiy's the second season back in the Kazakhstan Premier League, the highest tier of association football in Kazakhstan, since 2001. Caspiy will also take part in the Kazakhstan Cup.

The 2021 Kazakhstan Cup is the 29th season of the Kazakhstan Cup, the annual nationwide football cup competition of Kazakhstan since the independence of the country. FC Kaisar are defending champions having beaten FC Atyrau in the final on 6 October 2019 to win their second Kazakhstan Cup, with the 2020 edition of the cup being cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Kazakhstan.
The 2021 FC Zhetysu season was the club's fourth season back in the Kazakhstan Premier League following their relegation at the end of the 2016 season, and 24th season in total.
The 2022 FC Astana season was the fourteenth successive season that FC Astana will play in the Kazakhstan Premier League, the highest tier of association football in Kazakhstan. They finished as Champions of the Premier League, having finished second the previous season behind Tobol. Astana also reached the Semifinals of the Kazakhstan Cup where they were knocked out by Ordabasy, and the Second Qualifying round of the Europa Conference League where they were defeated by Raków Częstochowa.

The winners qualified for the 2023–24 UEFA Europa Conference League second qualifying round. FC Kairat were the defending champions, having beaten FC Shakhter Karagandy in the previous final.
The 2022 FC Ordabasy season was the 20th successive season that Ordabasy played in the Kazakhstan Premier League, the highest tier of association football in Kazakhstan.
