The 2022 Erovnuli Liga or Crystalbet Erovnuli Liga 2022 (formerly known as Umaglesi Liga) was the 34th season of top-tier football in Georgia. Dinamo Batumi were the defending champions.
Sioni Bolnisi (promoted after a two-year absence) and Gagra (promoted after a ten-year absence) were promoted from the 2021 Erovnuli Liga 2. FC Samtredia (relegated after two years in the top flight) and Shukura Kobuleti (relegated after one year in the top flight) have been relegated to 2022 Erovnuli Liga 2.

The Erovnuli Liga is the top division of professional football in Georgia. Since 1990, it has been organized by the Professional Football League of Georgia and Georgian Football Federation. From 1927 to 1989, the competition was held as a regional tournament within the Soviet Union. From 2017, the Erovnuli Liga switched to a spring-autumn system, with only 10 clubs in the top flight.
Erovnuli Liga playoffs is the annual knockout stage to determine the seat of Erovnuli Liga between the football team from Umaglesi Liga and Erovnuli Liga 2. Since 2001, the team were from Erovnuli Liga which finished right above relegated team, and from Erovnuli Liga 2 which finished right below promoted team.
The 2011–12 Umaglesi Liga was the 23rd season of top-tier football in Georgia. It began on 6 August 2011 and ended on 21 May 2012. The league added two teams for this season, increasing its size from ten to twelve teams.

The 2023 season was the 100th season in the existence of Dinamo Batumi and their fifth successive season in the Erovnuli Liga, the top division of Georgian football. In addition to the domestic league, this year the club participated in the national cup, the Georgian Super Cup and UEFA Europa Conference League.
