The 2024 UTSA Roadrunners football team represented the University of Texas at San Antonio in the American Athletic Conference (AAC) during the 2024 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The Roadrunners were led by Jeff Traylor in his fifth year as the head coach. The Roadrunners played their home games at the Alamodome, located in San Antonio.
The American Athletic Conference released its media prediction poll on July 23, 2024. The Roadrunners were predicted to finish second in the conference. [1]

The 2005 season was the New Orleans Saints' 39th in the National Football League (NFL) and the sixth and final under head coach Jim Haslett.
The 2016 Arizona State Sun Devils football team represented Arizona State University in the 2016 NCAA Division I FBS football season. They were led by fifth-year head coach Todd Graham and played their home games at Sun Devil Stadium. They were a member of the South Division of the Pac-12 Conference. They started the season 5–1, and needed to win one more game to become bowl eligible. However, they lost each of their last six games and did not qualify to play in a bowl game. The low point came in their season finale against in-state rival Arizona. With bowl eligibility on the line, the Sun Devils gave up 511 rushing yards in their 56–35 loss. They finished the season 5–7, 2–7 in Pac-12 play to finish in a tie for fourth place in the South Division.
The 2019 Incarnate Word Cardinals football team represented the University of the Incarnate Word (UIW) in the 2019 NCAA Division I FCS football season as a member of the Southland Conference. The Cardinals played their home games at Gayle and Tom Benson Stadium in San Antonio, Texas. They were led by second-year head coach Eric Morris. They finished the season 5–7, 4–5 in Southland play to finish in a tie for 6th place.
