Background

The event hosted a Heavyweight Grand Prix between eight contestants, which included the reigning Glory heavyweight champion Rico Verhoeven. [1] [2]

Two title fights were held during the event: a Glory Lightweight Championship bout between Tyjani Beztati and Enriko Kehl, [3] as well as a Glory Light Heavyweight Championship bout between Donegi Abena and Tarik Khbabez. [4]

Khbabez has also competed in ONE Championship is a former ONE Light Heavyweight Kickboxing world title challenger. In 2021, he was the runner up for the Glory 77: Rotterdam Heavyweight Tournament.

Donegi Abena is a Surinamese-Dutch kickboxer, currently competing in the Light Heavyweight division of Glory, where he is the former Glory Light Heavyweight champion.

Tyjani Beztati is a Moroccan-Dutch kickboxer currently competing in the Lightweight division of Glory. He is the current Glory Lightweight Champion and is a former two-time Glory Lightweight title challenger.

He is still undefeated nationally in boxing.

Chico Fernando Samuel Kwasi is a Dutch-Surinamese professional kickboxer and former boxer, currently competing in the welterweight division of Glory, where he is the reigning welterweight champion. He previously competed for King of Kings and Dynamite Fighting Show. Kwasi is the former KOK welterweight champion.

Kevin Tariq Osaro is a Nigerian-Dutch professional kickboxer, currently competing in the heavyweight division of Glory. He also competed for OSS Fighters. As of 1 November 2023, Osaro is ranked the #2 heavyweight in the world by Beyond Kickboxing.
