Club Sportivo Ameliano, also simply known as Ameliano, is a Paraguayan football club based in Virgen del Huerto neighborhood in the city of Asunción. The club competes in the Paraguayan Primera División for the 2022 season after their promotion at the end of the 2021 Paraguayan División Intermedia.

The 2018 Copa Paraguay was the first edition of the Copa Paraguay, Paraguay's domestic football cup competition. The competition ended with Guaraní winning their first title after beating Olimpia 5–3 on penalties in the final following a 2–2 draw. Guaraní, as the winners, were awarded a berth into the 2019 Copa Sudamericana.

The 2019 División Profesional season was the 85th season of top-flight professional football in Paraguay. The season began on 22 January and ended on 15 December. The fixtures for the season were announced on 13 December 2018. Olimpia were the defending champions after winning both tournaments of the 2018 season, and won a third championship in a row in the Torneo Apertura with three matches to spare after defeating Deportivo Santaní by a 6–0 score on 4 May. Olimpia also crowned themselves in the Torneo Clausura, winning a fourth title in a row with one matchday remaining, following a 2–2 draw at home against Guaraní on 8 December.

The 2019 Copa Paraguay was the second edition of the Copa Paraguay, Paraguay's domestic football cup competition. The competition started on 28 May 2019 and concluded on 5 December 2019. Libertad won their first title in the competition by beating defending champions Guaraní in the final by a 3–0 score. With both champions Libertad and runners-up Guaraní being already qualified for the 2020 Copa Libertadores, and third-placed team Deportivo Capiatá being relegated at the end of the season, the berth to the 2020 Copa Sudamericana the winners were originally entitled to was transferred to the Primera División aggregate table eighth-placed team, Sportivo Luqueño.

The 2020 División Profesional season was the 86th season of the Paraguayan Primera División, the top-flight professional football league in Paraguay. The season began on 17 January and ended on 30 December. The fixtures for the season were announced on 16 December 2019. Olimpia were the defending champions after winning both tournaments of the 2019 season.

The 2021 Copa Paraguay was the third edition of the Copa Paraguay, Paraguay's domestic football cup competition. Originally known as the 2020 Copa Paraguay, the competition was scheduled to start on 14 April 2020 and conclude in late 2020, with the winners qualifying for the 2021 Copa Sudamericana as well as the 2020 Supercopa Paraguay against the Primera División champions with better record in the aggregate table.

The 2021 División Intermedia season, named "Cincuentenario del Club Atlético 3 de Febrero y Homenaje al Lic. Miguel Ángel Cañete Alderete", was the 103rd season of the second-tier league of Paraguayan football and 24th under the Paraguayan División Intermedia name. The season began on 9 April and ended on 26 October 2021. The fixtures for the season were announced on 15 January 2021.

The 2022 Copa Paraguay was the fourth edition of the Copa Paraguay, Paraguay's domestic football cup competition organized by the Paraguayan Football Association (APF). The competition began on 10 May and ended on 10 November 2022, with the winners qualifying for the 2023 Copa Sudamericana as well as the 2022 Supercopa Paraguay against the Primera División champions with better record in the aggregate table.

The 2022 División Intermedia season, named "Homenaje al Doctor Luis Lezcano Pastore y al Escribano Julio César Ortiz Duarte", was the 104th season of the second-tier league of Paraguayan football and 25th under the Paraguayan División Intermedia name. The season began on 1 April and ended on 11 October 2022. The fixtures for the season were announced on 15 December 2021.

The 2023 División Intermedia season, named "Homenaje a Don Alejandro Dos Santos", was the 105th season of the second-tier league of Paraguayan football and 26th under the División Intermedia name. The season began on 31 March and ended on 9 October 2023, and the fixtures for the season were announced on 14 December 2022.

The 2023 Copa Paraguay was the fifth edition of the Copa Paraguay, Paraguay's domestic football cup competition organized by the Paraguayan Football Association (APF). The competition began on 18 April and ended on 2 December 2023, with the winners qualifying for the 2023 Supercopa Paraguay against the Primera División champions with better record in the aggregate table.

The 2024 Copa Paraguay is the sixth edition of the Copa Paraguay, Paraguay's domestic football cup competition organized by the Paraguayan Football Association (APF). The competition began on 30 April and is scheduled to end in November 2024. The winners will qualify for the 2025 Copa Libertadores and the 2024 Supercopa Paraguay against the Primera División champions with better record in the aggregate table.

The 2024 División Intermedia season, named "Homenaje a Daniel Giménez, Félix Quiñonez e Isidoro Benítez", is the 106th season of the second-tier league of Paraguayan football and the 27th under the División Intermedia name. The season began on 5 April and is scheduled to end on 14 October 2024, and the fixtures for the season were drawn on 28 November 2023.
