<span class="mw-page-title-main">Jingxi Hotel</span> Hotel in Beijing closed to foreigners, run by the Peoples Liberation Army

The Jingxi Hotel is a high-profile hotel located at Yangfangdian Road, Haidian, Beijing, used for government officials and an internal meeting place. Located near the Military Museum and Defense Ministry, it is subordinate to the Agency for Offices Administration of the Central Military Commission. It was the residence of the delegates of the Military Commission during the Congress, and successive leaders of the Party and the State have attended many relevant meetings in the hotel.

The Eight-point Regulation from the Central is a set of Chinese Communist Party regulations stipulated by the Politburo in 2012 aimed at instilling more discipline among party members and making the party "closer to the masses". They were first announced on 4 December 2012, after a Politburo meeting led by Xi Jinping, who then had recently became General Secretary of the CCP. Detailed implementing regulations were adopted by the Politburo in 2022.

The Huairen Hall or Huairentang is a building inside Zhongnanhai, the Chinese government's leadership compound in Beijing. It has been the site of several major events in Chinese history. Huairen Hall is the main meeting place of the Politburo of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and an alternate meeting place of the CCP Politburo Standing Committee. The building is also the meeting location of several of the CCP's leading groups such as the Financial and Economic Affairs Leading Group and the Leading Group for Comprehensively Deepening Reforms. The building has a main auditorium that can seat approximately a thousand people as well as a conference room on the second floor that is used for smaller scale meetings.

The July 1 Medal is the highest honorary medal of the Chinese Communist Party. The bestowal is decided by the Central Committee and presented by the General Secretary of the Central Committee. It was established on 22 July 2017. According to the party's bylaw, the medal is bestowed on "party members who have made outstanding contributions and created valuable spiritual wealth in the great cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics and the new great project of party construction."

Wu Zhen is a former Chinese politician who served as the Deputy Commissioner of the National Health and Family Planning Commission and the deputy director of the China Food and Drug Administration. He was dismissed from his position in August 2018 and placed under investigation by the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Supervisory Commission.

At the invitation of the General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Nguyễn Phú Trọng and President of Vietnam Võ Văn Thưởng, Xi Jinping, the General Secretary of the Chinese Communist Party and President of China, paid a state visit to Vietnam during December 12-13, 2023. The two sides agreed to issue the Joint Declaration on Further Deepening and Upgrading the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership and Building a Strategic Community of Destiny between China and Vietnam.

At the invitation of the President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Trần Đại Quang, President of China and General Secretary of the Chinese Communist Party Xi Jinping went to Da Nang, Vietnam, from November 10–11, 2017, to attend the APEC Vietnam 2017. Then, General Secretary Xi Jinping paid a state visit to Vietnam and the Laos from November 12–14, 2017. This is the first state visit by the top leaders of the Chinese Communist Party and State after the 19th National Congress of the Chinese Communist Party.
