30th Avenue station is a light rail and bus station on the Blue Line [2] in the Twin Cities region of the U.S. state of Minnesota. [3] The station opened with the second phase of the Hiawatha Line on December 4, 2004. It has a 1,585-space park and ride facility. [4] The south parking lot was closed for construction of a 1,443 space parking ramp, which opened in Fall 2008.
Red Line began to serve the station on June 22, 2013, going northbound only. Red Line service to 30th Avenue ended on May 19, 2017.
Because it was deliberately made difficult for drivers to park at the Mall of America and then ride light rail, this is an easy alternative. It is only about two blocks from the Mall of America and is much more convenient for drivers to park and ride.
The station was originally 28th Avenue station and was renamed to the adjacent 30th Avenue in summer 2022 when 28th Avenue was renamed to Winstead Way in honor of former Bloomington mayor, Gene Winstead. [5] The cost to change the station name is estimated to be $15,000. [6]
From 30th Avenue Station, there is a direct bus connection to Route 54 which goes to downtown Saint Paul.
The Metro Blue Line is a 12-mile (19.3 km) light rail line in Hennepin County, Minnesota, that is part of the Metro network. It travels from downtown Minneapolis to Minneapolis–Saint Paul International Airport and the southern suburb of Bloomington. Formerly the Hiawatha Line prior to May 2013, the line was originally named after the Milwaukee Road's Hiawatha passenger train and Hiawatha Avenue, reusing infrastructure from the former and running parallel to the latter for a portion of the route. The line opened June 26, 2004, and was the first light rail service in Minnesota. An extension, Bottineau LRT, is planned to open in 2028.

The Mall of America station is the busiest transit center in Minnesota, with bus and light rail service linking the Mall of America to many destinations in the Minneapolis–St. Paul metro. The Red Line travels primarily on Minnesota State Highway 77 and Cedar Avenue from the Apple Valley station in Apple Valley, north through Eagan, Minnesota, to the Mall of America station in Bloomington where it connects to the Metro Blue Line. The line operates primarily along Interstate 35W from downtown Minneapolis through Richfield and Bloomington before terminating in Burnsville, Minnesota. The Orange Line provides access to 198,000 jobs with roughly a quarter of them outside downtown Minneapolis. The route serves a mix of stations located in the center of the highway, stations near highway exits, and on-street stations. I-35W & 98th Street is a bus rapid transit station on the Metro Orange Line at 98th Street adjacent to Interstate 35W in Bloomington, Minnesota. The station is integrated with the South Bloomington Transit Center, a transfer hub and park and ride facility opened in 2004. The transit center was as far south as Route 535, predecessor to the Orange Line, traveled, with no direct connection to the other side of the Minnesota River. The station opened December 4, 2021 with the rest of the Orange Line.

The Metro C Line is a bus rapid transit line in Brooklyn Center and Minneapolis, Minnesota operated by Metro Transit. The line is part of Metro Transit's Metro network of light rail and bus rapid transit lines. The route operates from the Brooklyn Center Transit Center along Penn Avenue and Olson Memorial Highway, terminating in downtown Minneapolis. The route is analogous to the existing Route 19 and is projected to increase ridership on this corridor from 7,000 to 9,000 by 2030. Eventually, part of its route will shift south to Glenwood Avenue from Olson Memorial Highway.
The Metro E Line is a planned bus rapid transit route in Minneapolis, Saint Paul, and Edina. The route will operate from Southdale Center Transit Center in Edina, Minnesota to Westgate station in Saint Paul. Running mostly on France Avenue, Hennepin Avenue, and University Avenue, the line will serve major destinations such as Southdale Center, Fairview Hospital, 50th & France, Linden Hills, Uptown, Minneapolis Sculpture Garden, Downtown Minneapolis, Dinkytown, the University of Minnesota, and Prospect Park. The route will have "train-like" features to speed up service and improve reliability, such as signal priority, bus lanes, all-door boarding, further stop spacing, and specialized vehicles. In 2019 planning and design were underway, with construction slated for 2023 and operations beginning a year later but that timeline has been moved back. The E Line would largely replace Route 6 which carries 9,000 trips each weekday. The project was fully funded with $60 million by the state of Minnesota in 2021 and is expected to open in 2025.
Brooklyn Center Transit Center (BCTC) is a transit center in the Minneapolis suburb of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota. Owned and operated by Metro Transit, it is one of the busiest single boarding locations in the Twin Cities. The transit center is not a park and ride, but provides free 10-minute parking and free outdoor bike racks. June 8, 2019 Metro Transit's second bus rapid transit line, the Metro C Line, opened with Brooklyn Center Transit Center as the line's northern terminus. The Metro D Line opened in December 2022, also using the center as its northern terminus. The transit center opened December 4, 2004 and cost $1.9 million. Before opening of the C Line, charging stations were installed for end-of-the-line charging of 8 battery electric buses used on the C Line and D Line.

7th-8th Street & Nicollet is a bus rapid transit station on the Metro C Line and D Line in downtown Minneapolis, Minnesota. The station is located at the intersection of Nicollet Mall, with the northbound platform located on 7th Street and the southbound platform on 8th Street. The platforms are referred to as 7th Street & Nicollet and 8th Street & Nicollet, respectively. The station is located within the Downtown Minneapolis Fare Zone, where riders can travel in the zone for 50¢ with no transfers.
