The 7th District Police Station, or Maxwell Street Station in Chicago, Illinois, was built in 1888 in response to the need for increased police presence in "Bloody Maxwell", known colloquially as "the Wickedest Police District in the World." The neighborhood, a changing melting pot of Irish, German, Italian and European Jewish immigrants, grew exponentially in the years following the Chicago Fire of 1871. The housing and sanitation situation in the district was substandard, and the residents poor. Criminal activity flourished.

Closed in 1983, the station is now operated as the Los Angeles Police Museum. It has been designated as a Historic Cultural Monument and listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Fly Creek Methodist Church, also known as First Methodist Episcopal Society in Fly Creek, is a historic Methodist church on County Route 26, north of the junction with conjoined NY 28 and NY 80 in Fly Creek, Otsego County, New York. It was built in 1838 and is a plain, clapboarded, timber-frame building on a fieldstone foundation with a frontal gable in the Greek Revival style. The interior configuration is a modification of the Akron plan. It is located within the boundaries of the Fly Creek Historic District.
Alfred Dolge Hose Co. No. 1 Building is a historic fire station located at Dolgeville in Herkimer County, New York. It was built about 1890 and is a two-story, gable roofed, utilitarian frame structure above a cut stone basement. It features a steeply pitched, standing seam metal roof and open belfry with a pyramidal roof. It was originally built as a commercial structure, converted for use as a fire station in 1901, and used as such until 1991.

It features a projecting corner tower and Norman-inspired projecting main entrance portico. The stable is a two-story brick building connected to the station house by a one-story brick passage. It ceased being used as a police station in 1970, and was bought by the Sunset Park School of Music.

It was built in 1886 and is a three-story, yellow brick building above a sandstone foundation and watertable in the Romanesque Revival style. It features a round corner tower and Norman-inspired projecting main entrance portico. The stable is a two-story brick building connected to the station house by a one-story brick passage. It ceased use as a police station in 1973 and later used by a local church.
Flatbush Town Hall at 35 Snyder Avenue between Flatbush and Bedford Avenues in the Flatbush neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York City, is a historic town hall built in 1874–75 and designed by John Y. Culyer in the High Victorian Gothic style in the Ruskinian mode. It is a two-story masonry building on a stone foundation, and features a three-story bell tower with a steep hip roof. The building dates from the time before the Town of Flatbush was integrated into the City of Brooklyn, in 1894, after which the building served as a magistrate's court and the New York City Police Department's 67th Police Precinct station.
