The People's Justice Party,is a reformist political party in Malaysia formed on 3 August 2003 through a merger of the party's predecessor,the National Justice Party,with the socialist Malaysian People's Party. The party's predecessor was founded by Wan Azizah Wan Ismail during the height of the Reformasi movement on 4 April 1999 after the arrest of her husband,former Deputy Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim. At the 2022 Malaysian general election,the PH coalition which the PKR was part of was returned to power again,albeit without a majority,leading it to form a unity government with political rivals. The party is one of main partners of the Pakatan Harapan (PH) ruling coalition in Malaysia.

The 14th Perak State election was held on 9 May 2018. The previous state election was held on 5 May 2013. Each of the state assemblymen are elected to a five-year term each.
The 13th Penang election was held on 5 May 2013. Polling took place in 40 constituencies throughout the State of Penang,with each electing a State Assemblyman to the Penang State Legislative Assembly. The election was conducted by the Malaysian Election Commission.

He is a member of the Malaysian United Indigenous Party (BERSATU),a component party of the PN coalition was a member of the People's Justice Party (PKR),a component party of the PH coalition.
Nolee Ashilin binti Mohammed Radzi is a Malaysian politician who served as Member of the Perak State Executive Council (EXCO) in the Barisan Nasional (BN) and Perikatan Nasional (PN) state administrations under Menteris Besar Zambry Abdul Kadir,Ahmad Faizal Azumu and Saarani Mohamad from May 2013 to May 2018,March to December 2020 and again from December 2020 to November 2022 as well as Member of Perak State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Tualang Sekah from March 2008 to November 2022. She is a member of the Malaysian United Indigenous Party (BERSATU),a component party of the PN coalition and was an independent as well as member of the United Malays National Organisation (UMNO),a component party of the BN coalition. She has served as Member of the Supreme Council of BERSATU since January 2024. She is also the sister-in-law of Ahmad Faizal.
Haniza binti Mohamed Talha is a Malaysian politician who served as Non-executive Chairperson of the Syarikat Perumahan Negara Berhad (SPNB) from April 2021 to her removal from the position in July 2022,Member of the Selangor State Executive Council (EXCO) from May 2018 to June 2020 and Member of the Selangor State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Lembah Jaya from May 2018 to August 2023 and for Taman Medan from March 2008 to May 2018. Saari bin Sungib is a Malaysian politician who served as Member of the Selangor State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Hulu Kelang from March 2008 to August 2023. He is a member,State Deputy Chairman of Selangor and Division Chief of Gombak of the National Trust Party (AMANAH),a component party of the Pakatan Harapan (PH) coalition and was a member of the Malaysian Islamic Party (PAS),a former component party of Pakatan Rakyat (PR) coalition as well as member of the People's Justice Party (PKR),a former component party of the Barisan Alternatif (BA) coalition. He is also the father of Anfaal Saari,the Member of the Selangor State Executive Council (EXCO),Taman Templer MLA and Deputy Women Chief of AMANAH.

He is a member and State Deputy Chairman of Penang of the People's Justice Party (PKR),a component party of the PH coalition. He has also served as Rector of the Penang International Islamic College of Technology since January 2020.
Anfaal binti Saari is a Malaysian politician who has served as Member of the Selangor State Executive Council (EXCO) in the Pakatan Harapan (PH) state administration under Menteri Besar Amirudin Shari and Member of the Selangor State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Taman Templer since August 2023. She served as Member of the Ampang Jaya Municipal Council (MPAJ). She is a member and Division Women Chief of Gombak of the National Trust Party (AMANAH),a component party of the PH coalition. She has also served as the Deputy Women Chief of AMANAH since December 2023. She is also presently one of the only two AMANAH Selangor EXCO Members alongside Izham Hashim,one of the only two female Selangor EXCO Members alongside Jamaliah Jamaluddin and the daughter of former Hulu Kelang MLA Saari Sungib.
