Nicholas Kipyator Kiprono arap Biwott was a Kenyan businessman,politician,and philanthropist,who worked in the governments of the fathers of Kenyan independence,Jomo Kenyatta and Daniel arap Moi. He held eight senior civil servant and ministerial positions that included Minister of State (1979–82),Minister of Energy (1963),Minister of East African and Regional Co-operation (1998–99) and Minister of Regional Development,Science,and Technology (1982).
Makerere University is Uganda's largest and oldest institution of higher learning,first established as a technical school in 1922,and the oldest currently active university in East Africa. It became an independent national university in 1970. Forum for the Restoration of Democracy–Kenya (FORD–Kenya) is a Kenyan political party. The party has sat in the government of Kenya once,under the National Rainbow Coalition,from 2003 to 2007,having ended forty years of one party rule. In April 2022,the party joined the Kenya Kwanza coalition for the August 2022 elections,and is headed by Moses Wetangula,the current speaker of the National Assembly of Kenya. The party tends to be more popular among the Luhya people.
The Luo of Kenya and Tanzania are a Nilotic ethnic group native to western Kenya and the Mara Region of northern Tanzania in East Africa. The Luo are the fourth-largest ethnic group (10.65%) in Kenya,after the Kikuyu (17.13%),the Luhya (14.35%) and the Kalenjin (13.37%). The Tanzanian Luo population was estimated at 1.1 million in 2001 and 3.4 million in 2020. They are part of a larger group of related Luo peoples who inhabit an area ranging from South Sudan,southwestern Ethiopia,northern and eastern Uganda,southwestern Kenya,and northern Tanzania.
Wycliffe Musalia Mudavadi is a Kenyan politician and land economist who is currently serving as Prime Cabinet Secretary of Kenya and expanded role of Foreign &Diaspora Affairs Minister of Kenya,he is also the party leader of the Amani National Congress (ANC),one of the founding political parties,of the Kenya Kwanza alliance. He served as the 7th Vice-President of Kenya in 2002 and Deputy Prime Minister (2008–2012),when he resigned to contest for the Presidency in the 2013 Kenyan general election and emerged third. He was the deputy party leader of the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) (2005–2012) and Party Leader of the United Democratic Forum Party (UDF) from May 2012 to July 2015.

The 2007–2008 Kenyan crisis was a violent political,economic,and humanitarian crisis that erupted in Kenya after former President Mwai Kibaki was declared the winner of the presidential election held on December 27,2007. Supporters of Kibaki's main opponent in that election,Raila Odinga of the Orange Democratic Movement,alleged electoral manipulation. This position was widely confirmed by international observers,as being perpetrated by both parties in the election. Even the head of the electoral commission himself confirmed that he did not know who had won the elections despite announcing the incumbent as president.
David Kimutai Too was a Kenyan politician affiliated to the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM). He was a high school teacher and then a principal from Kericho in Rift Valley,Kenya before being elected to the National Assembly from Ainamoi Constituency from a field of 13 candidates in the December 2007 parliamentary election. Charles Keter,a fellow Member of Parliament,described Too as "a very humble,quiet man." The "List of alleged perpetrators" of the 2007/2008 post-electoral violence of the Kenya National Human Rights Commission however lists him among the suspects on place 3 and charges him with "planning,incitement,and financing the violence".

Mwaura served as a Senator in Kenya's Senate under the Jubilee Party between 2017 and 2022 where he was nominated to represent Persons with Disabilities between 2017 and 2022. He was the third person to occupy that position under the Constitution of Kenya,2010. He also served as member of Parliament in the National Assembly from 2013 to 2017 after being nominated by the Orange Democratic Movement Party to represents special Interest Groups. He was the first Member of the National Assembly (MP) and Senator in Kenya with albinism. He is a member of the United Democratic Alliance Party (UDA) which is the ruling party under the Kenya Kwanza Administration of President William Samoei Ruto.
Professor David Peter Simon Wasawo was a Kenyan zoologist,conservationist,and university administrator. After studying at Uganda's Makerere University he earned an M.A. at the University of Oxford and a PhD at University of London. He taught at Makerere University,and was Professor and Dean of the Faculty of Science at the University of Nairobi,and later chancellor of Great Lakes University of Kisumu.
Kondele is a district of the city of Kisumu,the third largest city in Kenya,and the second largest city,after Kampala,in the Lake Victoria Basin. Kondele is the most densely populated of the three satellite towns of Kisumu metropolitan region,the others being Maseno and Ahero. It is Kisumu City's most notable region and cultural identifier and one of the most densely populated regions in Kisumu County,Kenya. It lies on the A1 road that connects Kisumu and Vihiga.
