Asbury Township is one of ten townships in Gallatin County, Illinois, USA. As of the 2020 census, its population was 115 and it contained 53 housing units. [1]

According to the 2021 census gazetteer files, Asbury Township has a total area of 17.86 square miles (46.26 km2), of which 17.83 square miles (46.18 km2) (or 99.85%) is land and 0.03 square miles (0.08 km2) (or 0.15%) is water. [2]

As of the 2020 census [1] there were 115 people, 23 households, and 15 families residing in the township. The population density was 6.44 inhabitants per square mile (2.49/km2). The racial makeup of the township was 100.00% White, 0.00% African American, 0.00% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 0.00% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.00% of the population.
