According to the 2021 census gazetteer files, Bowlesville Township has a total area of 39.73 square miles (102.90 km2), of which 38.53 square miles (99.79 km2) (or 96.99%) is land and 1.20 square miles (3.11 km2) (or 3.01%) is water. [2]

There were 72 housing units at an average density of 1.81 per square mile (0.70/km2). The racial makeup of the township was 91.67% White, 1.52% African American, 0.76% Native American, 2.27% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 3.79% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.76% of the population.
