Aviones de Renta de Quintana Roo, S.A. de C.V. (operating as Avioquintana) is an air taxi service based in Quintana Roo, in Mexico. His owner was Mario Hermosillo Torres, a very important pilot in his age. It was established and started operations in 1997 and operates domestic private charter services. Its main base is Cancún International Airport, with a hub at Chetumal International Airport. [1]

Chetumal is a city on the east coast of the Yucatán Peninsula in Mexico. It is the capital of the state of Quintana Roo and the municipal seat of the Municipality of Othón P. Blanco. In 2020 it had a population of 169,028 people.

Roberto Borge Angulo is a Mexican politician affiliated with the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI). He served the 7th Governor of Quintana Roo (2011-2016). After the end of his term he was declared a criminal by the Mexican government due to proven crimes of corruption during his time as governor. Roberto Borge was arrested on June 5, 2017 at an Airport in Panama.
Same-sex marriage is performed and recognized in all municipalities of the state of Quintana Roo. The first two same-sex marriages occurred in Kantunilkin on 28 November 2011 after it was discovered that the state's Civil Code does not specify sex or gender requirements for marriage. However, future same-sex marriages were suspended in January 2012 upon review by the state's Secretary General of Government. The two same-sex marriages in the state were annulled by the Governor of Quintana Roo, Roberto Borge Angulo, in April 2012, but these annulments were reversed by the Secretary General of Government on 3 May. The Secretary's decision allows for future same-sex marriages to be performed in Quintana Roo.
The Sistema Quintanarroense de Comunicación Social is the state broadcaster of the Mexican state of Quintana Roo, founded on January 30, 1985. It operates several television and radio stations in the state.
Federal Highway 180D is the toll highways paralleling Highway 180 in seven separate segments of highway. Three are in Veracruz:, the Libramiento de Cardel, the highway from Cardel to Veracruz, and the Nuevo Teapa-Cosoleacaque highway. Four segments exist beyond Veracruz: one between Agua Dulce and Cárdenas, Tabasco, facilitating a connection from the city of Coatzacoalcos in Veracruz; a bypass of Villahermosa; one connecting Champotón to Campeche City, Campeche; and another connecting the cities of Mérida, Yucatán, and Cancún, Quintana Roo. An additional segment, connecting the latter highway to Playa del Carmen, is officially part of Highway 180D, but is signed as Highway 305D.
The effects of Hurricane Wilma in Mexico severely affected the tourism industry of the Yucatán Peninsula in mid October 2005. Hurricane Wilma developed on October 15 in the Caribbean. Four days later, it intensified into the strongest Atlantic hurricane on record as determined by barometric pressure. Wilma weakened as it moved slowly northwestward, eventually making landfall late on October 21 on the island of Cozumel. At the time, it was a Category 4 hurricane on the Saffir–Simpson scale. Early the next day, the hurricane made another landfall on the Mexican mainland near Puerto Morelos. Wilma exited the Yucatán Peninsula into the Gulf of Mexico on October 23, and a day later it struck Florida.
The Tulum International Airport is a proposed airport, planned to be build about 20 kilometres (12 mi) north of Tulum, Mexico. In March 2011, the bidding for construction contracts was to be concluded.
Holbox Aerodrome is a small private airport for public use located on the island of the same name in Quintana Roo and is operated by the air taxi company Aerosaab. It has a runway 660 meters long and 12 meters wide, a platform with capacity for up to 5 light twin-engine aircraft and a waiting room. It is currently only used for general aviation purposes.
