Azerbaijan Futsal Premier League is the premier futsal league in Azerbaijan. It was founded in 1994. Organized by Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan and is played under UEFA rules, currently consists of six teams.

History

Araz Naxçivan is the most successful team in Azeri futsal, winning the Premier League 17 times. The 2019-20 season was abandoned due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Azerbaijan and Araz Naxçivan were declared champions being the top team of the league at the time of the abandonment. The 2020-21 season was cancelled for the same reason as last season and Araz Naxçivan were selected to play in the 2021–22 UEFA Futsal Champions League by the AFFA. [1]

The Azerbaijan national futsal team is the national futsal team of Azerbaijan and is controlled by the Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan. It represents Azerbaijan in international futsal competitions such as the FIFA Futsal World Cup and the European Championships. They are ranked 13th in the world, the highest-ranking team from Caucasus in the World Rankings. They are also ranked 7th in Europe on 10 August 2021.

The 2014–15 Azerbaijan Premier League was the 23rd season of Azerbaijan Premier League, the Azerbaijani professional league for association football clubs, since its establishment in 1992. Qarabağ are the defending champions, having won the previous season. The season started on 9 August 2014 and ended on 28 May 2015.

The 2014–15 season was Gabala's tenth season overall and ninth competing in the Azerbaijan Premier League.

The AZAL 2014–15 season is AZAL's tenth Azerbaijan Premier League season. They will participate in the League and the Azerbaijan Cup. It will be their first full season with Tarlan Ahmadov as their manager.

The Baku 2014-15 season is Baku's seventeenth Azerbaijan Premier League season. They will compete in the 2014–15 Azerbaijan Premier League and the 2014–15 Azerbaijan Cup. It is their second season with Milinko Pantić as their manager.

However they failed to complete the season after withdrawing from the league after 10 rounds, on 17 November 2014, with all their contracted players becoming free agents.

The 2023–24 Azerbaijan Premier League was the 32nd season of the Azerbaijan Premier League, the highest tier football league of Azerbaijan. The season begun on 4 August 2023 and will end in 2024.
