Aznab-e Olya (Persian : ازناب عليا‎, also Romanized as Aznāb-e ‘Olyā; also known as Aznavī-ye Bālā)^[1] is a village in Chahardangeh Rural District, Hurand District, Ahar County, East Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 220, in 43 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Chahardangeh Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in Hurand District, Ahar County, East Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 8,241, in 1,602 families. The rural district has 36 villages.

Hurand District is a district (bakhsh) in Ahar County, East Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 22,528, in 4,744 families. The District has one city: Hurand. The District has three rural districts (dehestan): Chahardangeh Rural District, Dikleh Rural District, and District Rural District.
