Juband (Persian : جوبند‎, also Romanized as Jūband)^[1] is a village in Owch Hacha Rural District, in the Central District of Ahar County, East Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 196, in 48 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Uech Hacha Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in the Central District of Ahar County, East Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 5,286, in 1,158 families. The rural district has 25 villages.
