Qarah Qeshlaq (Persian : قره قشلاق‎, also Romanized as Qarah Qeshlāq and Qareh Qeshlāq)^[1] is a village in Vargahan Rural District, in the Central District of Ahar County, East Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 67, in 13 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is a pluricentric language primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Vargahan Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in the Central District of Ahar County, East Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 5,101, in 1,085 families. The rural district has 36 villages.
