Qarah Darvish (Persian : قره درويش‎, also Romanized as Qarah Darvīsh and Qareh Darvīsh)^[1] is a village in Dodangeh Rural District, Hurand District, Ahar County, East Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 230, in 47 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is a pluricentric language primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Dodangeh Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in Hurand District, Ahar County, East Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 6,394, in 1,372 families. The rural district has 41 villages.

Hurand District is a district (bakhsh) in Ahar County, East Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 22,528, in 4,744 families. The District has one city: Hurand. The District has three rural districts (dehestan): Chahardangeh Rural District, Dikleh Rural District, and District Rural District.
