Khalifehlu (Persian : خليفه لو‎, also Romanized as Khalīfehlū and Khalifehloo; also known as Khalaf ‘Alī and Khalaflū)^[1] is a village in Dikleh Rural District, Hurand District, Ahar County, East Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 105, in 20 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is a pluricentric language primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Dikleh Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in Hurand District, Ahar County, East Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 4,017, in 863 families. The rural district has 20 villages.

Hurand District is a district (bakhsh) in Ahar County, East Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 22,528, in 4,744 families. The District has one city: Hurand. The District has three rural districts (dehestan): Chahardangeh Rural District, Dikleh Rural District, and District Rural District.
