Bagasbas Airport (Filipino: Paliparan ng Bagasbas, Bikol: Palayogan nin Bagasbas) ( IATA : DTE, ICAO : RPUD), also known as Daet Airport, is an airport serving the general area of the town of Daet, located in the province of Camarines Norte in the Philippines. It is the only airport in Camarines Norte. The airport is classified as a secondary airport, or a minor commercial domestic airport, by the Air Transportation Office, a body of the Department of Transportation that is responsible for the operations of all airports in the Philippines except the major international airports.

The airport, in service since the 1930s, derives its name from its location in Barangay Bagasbas in Daet.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">First José Rizal Monument (Daet)</span>

The Rizal Monument in Daet, Camarines Norte was the first monument built to honor José Rizal, and is the oldest surviving such monument in the Philippines. It was designed by Lt. Colonel Antonio Sanz with the help of Ildefonso Alegre of the Philippine Revolutionary Army and through the financial contributions of the locals of Camarines Norte. The three-tiered stone pylon with its square base supporting a triangle in two stages was the first monument and memorial marker in memory of the Philippines' National Hero.

The Bicol Natural Park is a protected area of the Philippines located in the Bicol Region of southern Luzon. It straddles the mountainous border between the provinces of Camarines Norte and Camarines Sur in the northern interior of the Bicol Peninsula. First declared as a national park covering 4,225 hectares on 13 February 1934 through Proclamation No. 657 of Governor General Frank Murphy, the Bicol National Park was later extended to its present area of 5,201 hectares through amendments made in Proclamation No. 655 signed by President Manuel Luis Quezon on 23 December 1940. The area was reclassified as a natural park on 29 December 2000 by virtue of Proclamation No. 43 by President Joseph Estrada.

DWYD, broadcasting as 102.9 Brigada News FM, is a radio station owned and operated by Brigada Mass Media Corporation. The station is located at the Kenboy Bldg., Central Plaza Complex, Brgy. Lag-on, Daet.

The National Route 622 (N622) forms part of the Philippine highway network. It is one of the national secondary roads with two non-contiguous sections, one which runs through the municipalities of Kawit and Noveleta in Cavite, while the other road runs through the municipality of Daet in Camarines Norte; both of these roads are located in Luzon island.

The Most Reverend Rex Andrew Clement Alarcon, D.D.,, is a Prelate of the Catholic church in the Philippines. He is the Bishop of Daet, with its seat at Daet, Camarines Norte. He succeeded Most Rev. Gilbert A. Garcera, DD, who was appointed Archbishop of Lipa in 2017.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Daet massacre</span>

The Daet massacre, which took place on June 14, 1981, in Daet, Camarines Norte, resulted in four people dying on the spot, with at least 50 others injured when forces of Ferdinand Marcos' administration opened fire on protesters marching to demand an increase in copra prices, and to denounce "fake elections" and the Coco Levy Fund scam. The Daet massacre is particularly noted for happening shortly after Proclamation No. 2045 was issued in January 1981, supposedly lifting Martial Law on the Philippines.
