Bane is a fictional supervillain appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. Created by Chuck Dixon, Doug Moench, and Graham Nolan, he made his debut in Batman: Vengeance of Bane #1. Bane is usually depicted as a dangerous adversary of the superhero Batman and belongs to the collective of enemies that make up the Batman rogues gallery. Possessing a mix of brute strength and exceptional intelligence, Bane is often credited as the only villain to have "broken the bat" both physically and mentally. He is a son of another of Batman's enemies, King Snake.
Darth Bane is a fictional character in the Star Wars franchise. He was created by George Lucas, within the Star Wars canon where he is first mentioned in the novelization of Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace, where Bane is an ancient Sith Lord who lived a thousand years before the films, and is known for being the originator of the "Rule of Two" that the Sith Lords follow, which establishes: "A master and an apprentice can be the only Sith in the galaxy at one time", which still remains as his backstory. Darth Bane's only on-screen appearance happens when he appears as a ghost to Jedi master Yoda in the animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars, voiced by Mark Hamill.

The Genna crime family, was a crime family that operated in Prohibition-era Chicago. From 1921 to 1925, the family was headed by the six Genna brothers, known as the Terrible Gennas. The brothers were Sicilians from the town of Marsala and operated from Chicago's Little Italy and maintained control over the Unione Siciliana. They were allies with fellow Italian gang the Chicago Outfit. After a bloody war led to their demise in the 1920s, the gang was eventually absorbed by the Chicago Outfit.

Baner Hill is a hill that separates two suburbs of Pashan and Baner in the city of Pune. The hill is the third highest point within the city limits, with an elevation of 2224 ft., surpassed by the Vetal Hill. There is a temple located in the northern foot of the hill. One can view the whole of baner on one side and the pashan area from the other. The place is home for plantation drive that has been taken up enthusiastically by the locals, helped by numerous volunteers. It has also a trail that runs along the park on the West and East sides using the various transverses to cut across the park.
