Bear Bluff is a town in Jackson County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 128 at the 2000 census.
The town was formed in the 1890s from part of the town of City Point. [3]
According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 56.1 square miles (145.2 km2), of which, 53.0 square miles (137.4 km2) of it is land and 3.0 square miles (7.8 km2) of it (5.39%) is water.
As of the census [2] of 2000, there were 128 people, 49 households, and 34 families residing in the town. The population density was 2.4 people per square mile (0.9/km2). There were 56 housing units at an average density of 1.1 per square mile (0.4/km2). The racial makeup of the town was 95.31% White, 2.34% Native American, 0.78% from other races, and 1.56% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.78% of the population.
There were 49 households, out of which 36.7% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 61.2% were married couples living together, 4.1% had a female householder with no husband present, and 30.6% were non-families. 24.5% of all households were made up of individuals, and 4.1% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.61 and the average family size was 3.15.
