Biñan, officially the City of Biñan,, and known simply as Biñan City is a 1st class city in the province of Laguna, Philippines. According to the 2015 census, it has a population of 333,028 people.
Incumbent Mayor Marlyn "Len-Len" Alonte-Naguiat is term-limited, she decided to run as a representative of the newly created Lone District of Biñan the Liberal Party, her opponent is Cookie Yatco. of the Nationalist People's Coalition. [1] Incumbent Vice Mayor Walfredo Dimaguila, Jr. is the party's nominee for Mayor his opponent are former Mayor Hermis Perez and Cookie Yatco. Incumbent councilor Gel Alonte is running for Vice Mayor his opponent is Bobet Borja.
The Liberal Party of the Philippines or LP is a liberal political party in the Philippines, founded by then senators Senate President Manuel Roxas, Senate President Pro-Tempore Elpidio Quirino, and former 9th Senatorial District Senator José Avelino, on January 19, 1946 by a breakaway Liberal wing from the old Nacionalista Party.
