Big Bang 2 is South Korean boy band Big Bang's third Japanese album. It was released on May 11, 2011.
The album was preceded by three singles: "Koe o Kikasete", "Tell Me Goodbye", and "Beautiful Hangover". "Koe o Kikasete" and "Tell Me Goodbye" managed to chart within the top five in the Japanese Oricon charts, and "Beautiful Hangover" managed to chart in the top ten.
Big Bang 2 is BigBang's second original Japanese album, following the release of Big Bang in 2009. The song "Ms. Liar" is a Japanese remake of their Korean song "Stupid Liar". [1]
Prior to Big Bang 2's announcement, three singles were released. "Koe o Kikasete" was the first single and was released November 4, 2009. It charted for sixteen weeks and managed a peak position at number four. Following "Koe o Kikasete" was "Tell Me Goodbye", released June 9, 2010. "Tell Me Goodbye" achieved much the same success, managing to chart for fifteen weeks peaking at number five. "Beautiful Hangover", the third single reached number seven and charted for eight weeks. [2] On April 18, 2011, a Japanese music video version of "Tonight" was made and uploaded on YG Entertainment's YouTube account and was released as a digital download on April 27, 2011. A fifth single, "Ms. Liar", was digitally released the same day as the album release.
Big Bang 2 is to be accompanied by the Love & Hope Tour across Japan. [3] The tour was previously titled the Love & Pain Tour, but it was changed due to the 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami. Part of the proceeds went to disaster relief. [4]

BigBang is a South Korean boy band formed by YG Entertainment. The group consists of three members: G-Dragon, Taeyang, and Daesung. Originally a five-piece band, Seungri retired from the entertainment industry in March 2019 and T.O.P left in May 2023. Dubbed the "Kings of K-pop", they helped spread the Korean Wave internationally and are considered one of the most influential acts in K-pop. They are known for their trendsetting musical experimentation, self-production, and stage presence.

Dong Young-bae, better known by his stage names Taeyang and SOL, is a South Korean singer, songwriter and dancer. He made his debut in 2006 as a member of the South Korean boy band BigBang. Following the release of several albums and extended plays with his group, Taeyang pursued a solo career in 2008, releasing his first extended play, Hot. The EP was acclaimed by critics and went to win the award for Best R&B & Soul Album at the 6th Korean Music Awards. Kang Dae-sung, better known mononymously as Daesung and his Japanese stage name D-Lite, is a South Korean singer and television personality who made his musical debut in 2006 as a member of the South Korean boy band Big Bang. He debuted as a solo artist in South Korea with the number one trot song "Look at Me, Gwisoon" in 2008. Since the inception of the Gaon Digital Chart in 2010, Daesung achieved two Top 10 songs, the digital single "Cotton Candy" and "Wings" from the BigBang album Alive (2012).
"Koe o Kikasete" is the third Japanese single by the South Korean boy band Big Bang released under YG Entertainment and Universal Music Japan seven months after their "ガラガラ GO!!" single. It is also the soundtrack for the TBS drama おひとりさま ("Ohitorisama").
"Gara Gara Go!!" is the second Japanese single by the South Korean boy band Big Bang released under YG Entertainment. The song has sold more than 30,829 copies so far.
Alive is the fifth Korean extended play by South Korean boy group Big Bang, released through YG Entertainment on February 29, 2012. Musically, it is a dance and electronic record that incorporates elements of hip hop and R&B. BigBang members G-Dragon and T.O.P wrote and produced the lyrics and music for nearly all tracks on the album. Alive spawned three digital singles that were released within the week prior—"Blue", "Fantastic Baby", and "Bad Boy", all three of which peaked within the top three positions on the Gaon Digital Chart.
The Japan Dome Tour was the fourth concert tour in Japan and seventh overall by South Korean band Big Bang. The tour visited six of Japan's major concert domes, making BigBang the first foreign artists to headline their own six-dome tour. Made is the third Korean-language studio album by South Korean boy band Big Bang. Made was preceded by four single albums containing two singles each, which were released in increments from May to August 2015. After over a year of delays, the full studio album was released on December 13, 2016. It marks the group's comeback after a three-year hiatus and their first full length Korean album since Remember (2008). The production of Made was primarily handled by G-Dragon along with long-time group collaborator Teddy Park. Musically, the album employs hip hop, EDM, pop rock, R&B styles with its lyrics examining expressions of doubt, worry, sexuality, and societal issues.

The Power World Tour is the second world tour by South Korean music label YG Entertainment in 2014, the last being the Past, Present & the Future world tour in 2006. The tour marks the entertainment agency's first family concert in two years. The tour kicked off at Kyocera Dome in Osaka, Japan for a two-day performance on April 12 and 13 before visiting other cities in Japan, China and Korea. The tour was officially sponsored by Samsung Galaxy in China, Taiwan and Singapore.
The Last Dance Tour is the sixth concert tour in Japan and eleventh overall by South Korean boy band Big Bang. The tour began on November 18, 2017 in Fukuoka, Japan and concluded on December 31, 2017 in Seoul, South Korea. BigBang broke their own record by being the only foreign act to hold a dome-sized arena tour in Japan for the fifth consecutive year. The oldest member T.O.P did not perform on this tour due to his mandatory military service in South Korea which began in February 2017.
"Flower Road" is a song by South Korean boy band Big Bang. It was released digitally on March 13, 2018, by YG Entertainment, as a gift and a final farewell from the group to its fans ahead of a lengthy hiatus, as the band members serve in South Korea's mandatory military service. It would also end up being their last single to feature longtime lead dancer and sub vocalist Seungri before his retirement on March 11, 2019. It was written by G-Dragon and T.O.P and produced by the former along with The Fliptones, who also participated in creating GD X Taeyang's "Good Boy" and Taeyang's "Stay with Me".
