Miss World 2007, the 57th edition of the Miss World pageant, was held on 1 December 2007 at the Crown of Beauty Theatre in Sanya, China. It was hosted by Fernando Allende and Angela Chow. Zhang Zilin of China won the crown and succeeded Taťána Kuchařová of the Czech Republic.

The 2004 pageant marks the second straight year that Sanya played host of the pageant. Miss International 2018, the 58th Miss International pageant, was held on November 9, 2018, at Tokyo Dome City Hall in Tokyo, Japan. Kevin Liliana from Indonesia crowned her successor Mariem Velazco from Venezuela at the end of the event. This is the third time in Miss International history the crowning of the runners-up was to see last year's Top 5 winners. This year Miss International comeback edition with the theme "Cheer All Woman" alongside Miss International Japan 2019.

The Miss Aruba 2018 the 51st edition of the Miss Aruba pageant was held in Alhambra Ballroom, Divi Resorts in Oranjestad, Aruba. Alina Mansur crowned her successor at the end of the event. 4 contestants from the islands in Aruba competed. The winner represented Aruba in Miss Universe 2018 and Miss World 2018 pageant.

Kimberly Orline Julsing is a German-Aruban model and beauty pageant titleholder who won the Miss Aruba 2018 on June 7, 2018. She represented Aruba at the Miss Universe 2018 pageant.
