Parliamentary elections were held in Bulgaria on 29 May 1927. [1] The result was a victory for the Democratic Alliance-National Liberal Party alliance, which won 174 of the 261 seats. Voter turnout was 84.3%. [2]
Bulgaria, officially the Republic of Bulgaria, is a country in Southeast Europe. It is bordered by Romania to the north, Serbia and North Macedonia to the west, Greece and Turkey to the south, and the Black Sea to the east. The capital and largest city is Sofia; other major cities are Plovdiv, Varna and Burgas. With a territory of 110,994 square kilometres (42,855 sq mi), Bulgaria is Europe's 16th-largest country.
The Democratic Alliance was a Bulgarian party that existed between 1923 and 1934 when all parties were banned. During most of that period (1923-1934) it was the ruling party in the country making it the third longest-ruling party in the country after the Bulgarian Communist Party and the People's Liberal Party.

The Democratic Party is a center-right party in Bulgaria led by Alexander Pramatarski. The party is a member of the European People's Party (EPP).

They were the country's first competitive elections, and followed deadlock in Parliament over the issue of joining the Commonwealth of Independent States. The result was a victory for the Democratic Agrarian Party of Moldova, which won 56 of the 104 seats.

General elections were held in Romania in July 1932. The Chamber of Deputies was elected on 17 July, whilst the Senate was elected in three stages on 20, 24 and 26 July. The result was a victory for the National Peasants' Party-German Party alliance, which won 274 of the 387 seats in the Chamber of Deputies and 104 of the 113 seats in the Senate elected through universal male vote. Of the 274 Chamber seats, 265 were taken by the National Peasant's Party and nine by the German Party.
