Buschwiller (German : Buschweiler) is a commune in the Haut-Rhin department in Alsace in north-eastern France.
Buschwiller is a village located in the French part of the agglomeration of Basel. It is adjacent to the Swiss town of Schönenbuch.
Due to its position, in the far north-east of France, Buschwiller features a semi-continental climate (Köppen : Cfb), characterized by warm to hot, humid summers and cool to cold, drier winters. It usually snows every year, but without substantial accumulation.

Haut-Rhin is a department in the Grand Est region of France, bordering both Germany and Switzerland. It is named after the river Rhine. Its name means Upper Rhine. Haut-Rhin is the smaller and less populated of the two departments of the former administrative Alsace region, the other being the Bas-Rhin. Especially after the 1871 cession of the southern territory known since 1922 as Territoire de Belfort, although it is still densely populated compared to the rest of metropolitan France. It had a population of 767,086 in 2019.
