The Cabinet of Victoria , is the main organ of the Victorian Government. Cabinet ministers undertake responsibilities inline with their portfolio area and are responsible for the subordinate government departments relevant to their ministry positions. [1]

The Victoria State Government, also referred to as the Victorian Government, is the executive government of the Australian state of Victoria.
Allan McLean was an Australian politician who served as the 19th Premier of Victoria, in office from 1899 to 1900. He was later elected to federal parliament, where he served as a government minister under George Reid.
Jacinta Marie Allan is an Australian politician serving as the 49th and current premier of Victoria since 2023. She has been the leader of the Victorian branch of the Australian Labor Party (ALP) since 2023 and has been a member of the Victorian Legislative Assembly (MLA) for the district of Bendigo East since 1999. She previously served as the 29th deputy premier of Victoria from 2022 to 2023. Allan is the longest-serving female minister in Victorian state history and currently the most senior sitting member of the Assembly.
Timothy Hugh Pallas is an Australian politician. He has been a Labor Party member of the Victorian Legislative Assembly since 2006, representing the electorate of Tarneit until 2014 and Werribee thereafter. He has served as Treasurer of Victoria in all three of the Andrew Ministries from December 2014 to December 2024, and in the Allan Ministry from 2023 to 2024. Pallas previously served as Minister for Roads and Ports and Minister for Major Projects in the Brumby Ministry until 2010.
The Minister for Local Government in the Government of the Australian state of Victoria is the Minister responsible for supervising the activities of local government councils in the state, recommending allocation of grants to local governments for projects, assessing processes for redistributing municipal boundaries according to population, overseeing tendering processes for council services, airing any concerns of local governments at Cabinet meetings and co-ordinating council community and infrastructure work at a state level. The Minister achieves the Government's objectives through oversight of Local Government Victoria of the Department of Government Services.
Natalie Maree Hutchins, also known as Natalie Sykes-Hutchins, is an Australian politician. She has been a Labor Party member of the Victorian Legislative Assembly since 2010, representing the electorates of Keilor (2010–2014) and Sydenham (2014–present).

The Department of Transport and Planning (DTP) is a government department in Victoria, Australia. Commencing operation on 1 January 2019 as the Department of Transport (DOT), the DOT was formed in machinery of government changes made by Premier Daniel Andrews after the re-election of his Labor government at the 2018 Victorian state election. The re-shuffle saw the "super-ministry" Department of Economic Development, Jobs, Transport and Resources abolished and its functions reassigned to the DOT and Department of Jobs, Precincts and Regions.
The Third Andrews ministry was the 71st ministry of the Government of Victoria. The Labor government, led by Premier Daniel Andrews and Deputy Premier Jacinta Allan, was officially sworn in on 5 December 2022, following the party's third consecutive victory at the 2022 state election, which was held on 26 November 2022.
The shadow ministry of John Pesutto was the shadow cabinet of Victoria from 8 December 2022 to 27 December 2024, serving in opposition to the government led by Daniel Andrews and Jacinta Allan of the Australian Labor Party. The shadow ministry was the Opposition's alternative to the Third Andrews ministry and Allan Ministry.
The shadow cabinet of Victoria is the opposition's equivalent to the Cabinet of Victoria. The shadow cabinet plays a big part in delivering an effective opposition. It consists of members of parliament who are given individual responsibilities for specific policy areas. This enables the opposition to present alternative viewpoints, scrutinise bills, and contribute to the lawmaking process in their specialised portfolios. In addition, it helps prepare the opposition for government should they win the next election by giving them the opportunity to develop their policy positions.
The Minister for the Suburban Rail Loop is a minister within the Executive Council of Victoria tasked with overseeing the construction of the Suburban Rail Loop, and the operations of the Suburban Rail Loop Authority.
The Allan ministry is the 72nd and current ministry of the Government of Victoria. The Labor government, led by Premier Jacinta Allan and Deputy Premier Ben Carroll, was officially sworn in following the resignation of Daniel Andrews and dissolution of the Third Andrews ministry.
The shadow Ministry of Brad Battin is the current shadow cabinet of Victoria since 27 December 2024, serving in opposition to the government led by Jacinta Allan of the Australian Labor Party. The shadow ministry is the Opposition's alternative to the Allan Ministry, sworn in on 2 October 2023. The shadow cabinet was formed following a successful spill motion against John Pesutto on 27 December 2024. Battin was subsequently elected as Leader of the Liberal Party and Leader of the Opposition.
