Cameraria niphonica is a moth of the family Gracillariidae. It is known from Japan (the islands of Hokkaido and Kyushu) and the Russian Far East. [1]
The larvae feed as leaf miners on Acer palmatum and Acer japonicum . [1] The mine consists of a blotch which is entirely flat and located on the upper surface of the leaf. [1] The cocoon is white, ellipsoidal and placed in the centre of the mine-cavity. [1]
