Canada at the Men's T20 World Cup

The Canada national cricket team is one of the associate members of the International Cricket Council (ICC), they are nicknamed as the Maple Leafers. Canada qualified for their maiden T20 World Cup in 2024, after winning the Americas regional qualifier. The team failed to make it past the group stage but managed to secure one victory against the full member team, Ireland.

Pieter Marinus Seelaar is a Dutch cricketer and a former captain of the national team. He is a right-handed batsman and a left-arm orthodox spin bowler. Having played for the Netherlands at the Under-15, Under-17 and Under-19 levels, he made his senior debut in a C&G Trophy game against Warwickshire on 3 May 2005. He then played in the ICC Trophy later that year. He made his One Day International debut against Sri Lanka on 6 July 2006. Two years later, Seelaar made his Twenty20 International debut.

Richard Douglas Berrington is a Scottish cricketer. He played for Scotland in the 2006 Under-19 Cricket World Cup in Sri Lanka, and has since played first-class, One Day International, and List A cricket for Scotland. In June 2022, Berrington was named as the captain of the national team, after Kyle Coetzer stepped down from leading the side.

The ICC Men's T20 World Cup is a biennial T20 cricket tournament, organised by the International Cricket Council (ICC) every 2 years since its inauguration in 2007 with the exception of 2011, 2018 and 2020. This event was rebranded from ICC World Twenty20 to ICC Men's T20 World Cup in November 2018. It is one of the most precious and widely viewed International cricket tournaments alongside the Cricket World Cup.

The Women's T20 World Cup is the biennial international championship for women's Twenty20 International cricket. The event is organised by the sport's governing body, the International Cricket Council, with the first edition having been held in England in 2009. For the first three tournaments, there were eight participants, but this number has been raised to ten from the 2014 edition onwards. In July 2022, the ICC announced that the Bangladesh would host the 2024 tournament and that England would host the 2026 tournament. Dipendra Singh Airee is a Nepalese cricketer. In August 2018, he was one of the eleven cricketers to play in Nepal's first-ever One Day International (ODI) match, against the Netherlands. During the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou, China, Airee scored the fastest fifty in T20Is, off just 9 balls, against Mongolia. In April 2024, he became the only third player in T20Is to hit six consecutive sixes in an over, doing it against Qatar in the ACC Premier Cup. Considered as one of Nepal's finest All-rounders, he is currently the second best T20I all-rounder in the world according to the ICC Men's Player Rankings. He is also dubbed as “The Tiger” for his aggressive batting skills.

The Namibia national cricket team is one of the associate members of the International Cricket Council (ICC), they are nicknamed as the Eagles. The team qualified for their first T20 World Cup in 2021, after finishing at 4th position in the 2019 qualifier, they have qualified for tournament three times in a row since then. In three editions that they have contested, the team has 4 wins in 11 matches.

The Scotland national cricket team is one of the associate members of the International Cricket Council (ICC). They qualified for the inaugural T20 World Cup in 2007 after finishing second in the 2007 ICC WCL Division One. They have played in five editions since then, their best performance came in 2021 when they advanced into the Super 12s from the first round. They have an overall win–loss record of 7–13 from 22 matches.

The United States national cricket team is one of the associate members of the International Cricket Council (ICC). United States qualified for their maiden T20 World Cup in 2024 as co-hosts along with West Indies. The team successfully made it past the group stage to reach the Super 8 stage, during the group stage they managed to tie the match against Pakistan which they moved on to win in the super over. By reaching the second stage, they qualified automatically for the 2026 edition.
