Meconopsis is a genus of flowering plants in the poppy family Papaveraceae. It was created by French botanist Viguier in 1814 for the species known by the common name Welsh poppy, which Carl Linnaeus had described as Papaver cambricum. The genus name means "poppy-like". Himalayan species discovered later were also placed in Meconopsis. In the 21st century, it was discovered that the Himalayan species were less closely related to the Welsh poppy, which has been restored to Papaver. All species now placed in Meconopsis are native to the Himalayas and surrounding regions. They have attractive, usually blue flowers.
Nomocharis was a genus of flowering plants in the family Liliaceae. It consisted of about 7 species native to montane regions of western China, Myanmar, and northern India. They are similar to Lilium, with one of the more obvious differences being the flowers being more shallow or sometimes flat.
Daphniphyllum is the sole genus in the flowering plant family Daphniphyllaceae and was described as a genus in 1826. The genus includes evergreen shrubs and trees mainly native to east and southeast Asia, but also found in the Indian Subcontinent and New Guinea.

Dolomiaea is a genus of Asian flowering plants in the family Asteraceae.
Pseudostellaria is a genus of flowering plants in the family Caryophyllaceae. Most of the 20 species occur in Asia. They are similar to Stellaria, differing in the morphology of the roots, fruit capsules and shallower notches of the petals.
Melanoseris souliei is a species of flowering plant in the family Asteraceae, native from Tibet to Sichuan and Yunnan, and to northern Myanmar. It was first described by Adrien René Franchet in 1895 as Lactuca souliei. Under the synonym Parasyncalathium souliei was the only species in the monotypic genus Parasyncalathium.
Kelloggia is a plant genus in the bedstraw and madder family, Rubiaceae. Its two species have a discontinuous distribution; one species is native to Bhutan and China, the other to the western United States.
