The Catholic Church in Seychelles is part of the worldwide Catholic Church, under the spiritual leadership of the Pope.

In 2020, there are around 75,000 Catholics in the Seychelles - almost 76.2% of the total population. [1] There were 28 priests and 49 nuns serving across 20 parishes. [2]

Seychelles forms a single diocese - the Diocese of Port Victoria. In 2023, the Bishop of Port Victoria is Alain Harel. [3] [4]

Theresa Josephine Cafrine was a woman from Seychelles, known for writing about her suffering from leprosy. Her wounds were said to have miraculously healed upon her death. The journal that she kept documenting her life with leprosy was published as an autobiography after her death. Cafrine was inducted into the Seychelles Women's Hall of Fame in 2012 and a committee from the Roman Catholic Diocese of Port Victoria is gathering evidence for a potential beatification.
