The Century Spire is a 60-story tall mixed-use skyscraper under construction in Makati, Metro Manila, Philippines and is part of the Century City development.
The Century Spire was designed by Daniel Libeskind of Studio Daniel Libeskind. The interior design was done by Armani/Casa Interior Design Studio of Giorgio Armani. [1] The glass-clad tower is divided into three branches with varying heights. Between the two highest tower shafts is a diagonal glass structure, placed by Libeskind, which includes penthouses. The lower third floors of the tower are for office use, and the upper floors are residential. Underground parking will also be present, and two floors of the building are allotted for amenities for residents. [2]

Daniel Libeskind is an American architect, artist, professor and set designer. Libeskind founded Studio Daniel Libeskind in 1989 with his wife, Nina, and is its principal design architect.
Dallas Arts Tower (formerly Chase Tower) is a 225 m (738 ft), 55-story postmodern skyscraper at 2200 Ross Avenue in the City Center District of downtown Dallas, Texas. Although it is the fourth tallest skyscraper in the city, if one were to exclude antennas and spires, it would be the third. It is also the 13th tallest building in Texas. The building was designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill and was completed in 1987. The building also formerly housed the Dallas Petroleum Club, a business and social club located on the 39th and 40th floors.
Eureka Tower is a 297.3 m (975 ft) skyscraper located in the Southbank precinct of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Construction began in August 2002 and the exterior was completed on 1 June 2006. The plaza was finished in June 2006 and the building was officially opened on 11 October 2006. The project was designed by Melbourne architectural firm Fender Katsalidis Architects and was built by Grocon. The developer of the tower was Eureka Tower Pty Ltd, a joint venture consisting of Daniel Grollo (Grocon), investor Tab Fried and one of the Tower's architects Nonda Katsalidis.
The Shard, also referred to as the Shard London Bridge and formerly London Bridge Tower, is a pyramid-shaped 72-storey mixed-use development supertall skyscraper, designed by the Italian architect Renzo Piano, in Bermondsey, London, that forms part of The Shard Quarter development. Standing 309.6 metres high, The Shard is the tallest building in the United Kingdom, the seventh-tallest building in Europe, and the second-tallest outside Russia behind the Varso Tower in Warsaw, which beats the Shard by less than half a metre. The Shard replaced Southwark Towers, a 24-storey office block built on the site in 1975.
10 Holloway Circus is a 400-foot (122 m) tall mixed-use skyscraper in Birmingham city centre, England. It was originally named after the developers, Beetham Organisation, and was designed by Ian Simpson and built by Laing O'Rourke. The entire development covers an area of 7,000 square feet (650 m2). It is the second tallest building in Birmingham and the 74th tallest building in the United Kingdom.
Contemporary architecture is the architecture of the 21st century. No single style is dominant. Contemporary architects work in several different styles, from postmodernism, high-tech architecture and new references and interpretations of traditional architecture to highly conceptual forms and designs, resembling sculpture on an enormous scale. One World Trade Center, also known as One WTC and Freedom Tower, is the main building of the rebuilt World Trade Center complex in Lower Manhattan, New York City. Designed by David Childs of Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, One World Trade Center is the tallest building in the United States, the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere, and the seventh-tallest in the world. The supertall structure has the same name as the North Tower of the original World Trade Center, which was destroyed in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. The new skyscraper stands on the northwest corner of the 16-acre (6.5 ha) World Trade Center site, on the site of the original 6 World Trade Center. It is bounded by West Street to the west, Vesey Street to the north, Fulton Street to the south, and Washington Street to the east.
Rufino Pacific Tower or more commonly known as Rufino Tower or Rufino Plaza is an office skyscraper and is one of the tallest buildings in the Philippines and tallest buildings in Metro Manila. It remains as the tallest steel-framed building in the country. It has a ground to architectural top height of 161 metres (528 ft), one of three ways of determining building heights according to Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat. Counting its eight-storey radio tower, the building has a total height of 200 metres (660 ft). It has a total of 41 stories above ground level, including a 10 storey podium which is actually the original building, the old V.A. Rufino Building, and was modified to be the podium of the new tower. It is one of the few skyscrapers that utilizes car elevators.
The Ascent at Roebling's Bridge is a residential building in Covington, Kentucky, United States, in the greater Cincinnati area. Designed by Daniel Libeskind, the building sits along the Ohio River across from the Roebling Suspension Bridge. It was commissioned in 2004 and was completed in March 2008 at a cost of approximately $50 million. Many newspapers have associated the Ascent with a trend toward signature architecture for residential buildings.
The AIA Tower, formerly the Philamlife Tower, is an office skyscraper located in Makati, Philippines. It is owned and developed by Philam Properties Corporation, the real estate arm of the Philippine American Life and General Insurance Company. Standing at 200 meters (660 ft), it is currently the 7th-tallest building in Makati, and is the 14th-tallest building in the country and Metro Manila as well. The building has 48 floors above ground, and 5 basement levels for parking. It is also the current headquarters of AIA Philippines since 2023, which was renamed to AIA Tower.
The Shang Grand Tower, also known as simply the Shang Tower, is a high-end residential condominium skyscraper located in Makati, Philippines. It was developed by Shang Properties, Inc. The 46-storey building was opened in 2006 and rises to 180 metres from the ground to its architectural top. It is currently the 10th-tallest complete building in Makati, and is the 19th-tallest building in the country and Metro Manila as well. The 250-unit condominium was the first self-funded residential condominium of Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts’ Kuok Group in the country, and all units were sold-out as of 2006.
The St. Francis Shangri-La Place, also known as The St. Francis Towers 1 & 2 are twin-tower residential condominium skyscrapers in Mandaluyong, Philippines. The towers are the 6th and 7th-tallest buildings in the country and Metro Manila as well, and are currently the second tallest twin towers in the Philippines surpassing Pacific Plaza Towers with a height of 212.88 metres from the ground to its architectural spire. It also has two of the most floors in the Philippines. The buildings have 60 floors above ground, including a podium which connects the two towers, and 5 basement levels for parking, and are considered one of the most prestigious residential buildings in the Philippines.
The Alveo Financial Tower, formerly known as the JAKA Tower, is an office skyscraper under construction in Makati, Philippines. The construction of the tower formerly owned by the JAKA Group of the family of Senator Juan Ponce Enrile commenced in 1996 but was halted in 1998. In 2014 it was acquired by Ayala Land which later through its unit Alveo Land relaunched the tower as the Alveo Financial Tower in 2015.
The Grand Soho Makati is a skyscraper for residential uses completed June 2010 in Makati, Philippines. It is estimated to rise 41 floors above ground. The construction of Grand Soho Makati (GSM), the residential condominium of top real estate developer Century Properties in prime Salcedo Village, has reached full completion in June.
Trump Tower Manila, also known as Trump Tower at Century City, is a residential building located in Makati, Metro Manila, Philippines. The Trump Tower Manila showroom opened in early 2012, although the company stated that unit reservations started in September 2011. Groundbreaking of the building began in June 2012, with a scheduled opening in November 2017. Construction was nearly finished as of November 2016. The $150 million tower stands 57 stories high on completion. The building is located at the Century City mixed-use complex in Makati Poblacion. It is the third tallest building in the Philippines and the second tallest in the Makati skyline.
Net Park is a 38-story green and sustainable corporate tower located in Bonifacio Global City, Metro Manila, Philippines. It is part of the office space portfolio of the Net Group, a developer who pioneered the concept of IT office building in the Philippines. The building will be part of the Net Metropolis 5th Ave, a mixed-use development considered as the nation’s first certified green project in Taguig.
The Finance Centre is a premium grade building in Bonifacio Global City, Metro Manila, Philippines. The building's architectural and interior design is a collaboration of GENSLER and AIDEA and was developed by Daiichi Properties & Development, Inc. The office building broke ground on June 5, 2014 and is the landmark building for Daiichi Properties. It is one of few buildings in the Philippines with LEED Gold rating. As of June 2012, the Philippines only has 38 buildings registered for LEED certification.
The Vivaldi Residences Cubao is a 40-storey mixed use residential, condotel tower located at the corner of EDSA and Aurora Blvd. in Quezon City, Philippines. The tower was named after Antonio Vivaldi, and is both owned and developed by Euro Towers International Inc.. serving as the company's first high-rise residential project in Metro Manila.
The World Trade Center (WTC) is a complex of buildings in the Lower Manhattan neighborhood of New York City, replacing the original seven buildings on the same site that were destroyed in the September 11 attacks of 2001. The site is being rebuilt with up to six new skyscrapers, four of which have been completed; a memorial and museum to those killed in the attacks; the elevated Liberty Park adjacent to the site, containing the St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church and the Vehicular Security Center; the Perelman Performing Arts Center; and a transportation hub. The 104-story One World Trade Center, the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere, is the lead building for the new complex.
Libeskind Tower or PwC Tower, also called Il Curvo, is a skyscraper completed in 2020 in the city of Milan as part of the CityLife development project. The tower reaches a height of 175 m (574 ft) with 28 floors, and a total floor area of about 76,000 square metres. It is the home for the Milan offices of PricewaterhouseCoopers. The project's designer and namesake is the Polish-American architect Daniel Libeskind.
