Century City is a 3.4-hectare (8.4-acre) mixed-use development in Makati, Philippines being developed by Century Properties. Several of the Philippines' upscale and tallest buildings, namely The Gramercy Residences, The Milano Residences, The Knightsbridge Residences, and Trump Tower Manila are located here, as well as the 17,000-square-meter (180,000 sq ft) Century City Mall. [1] Once completed, the ₱40 billion Century City complex will comprise an office building for business process outsourcing and corporate companies, four luxury residential towers, a mixed-use building, a mall, and an IT Hospital. [2]
The land the development sits on was the former site of International School Manila. [2] It was purchased in 2006 by a consortium composed of Century Properties Inc. and Picar Holdings. Construction of the development began in 2007.
Century City is located on a 4.8-hectare (12-acre) site at Kalayaan Avenue formerly occupied by the International School Manila for over 40 years. It occupies a significant portion of the old downtown area of Makati being redeveloped along Makati Avenue just north of the Makati Central Business District. It lies between Valdez Street and Kalayaan Avenue to the north and south, and between Salamanca Street and Spring Street to the east and west. It is also a few blocks away from Rockwell Center and is about 0.4 kilometers (0.25 mi) south of Mandaluyong and the Pasig River.
Century City Mall is the retail anchor for the Century City complex. It is a boutique mall and lifestyle center which has 17,000 square meters of leasable space for around 100 tenants. It is anchored by Rustan's Supermarket and a four-screen digital cinema. The five-level shopping mall also contains several restaurants and bars, including the 12 Monkeys Music Hall and Pub located on the mall's rooftop. It was completed in 2014. [1]

The architectural firm Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM) carried out the design under the direction of former design partner Larry Oltmanns, while Felino Palafox and his company, Palafox Associates, became responsible for the master-planning of the complex. Its centerpiece, the Power Plant Mall, opened on December 26, 2000. Rockwell Center includes office buildings, condominium towers, a professional school and a shopping mall.
The Gramercy Residences, also known as The Gramercy Residences at Century City, is a residential high-rise condominium in Makati, Philippines. As of 2023, it is the fourth tallest building in the Philippines together with Discovery Primea and Shangri-La at the Fort, Manila. It is the first of several buildings built at the new Century City complex along Kalayaan Avenue by the Century City Development Corporation.
The Knightsbridge Residences, also known as The Knightsbridge Residences @ Century City, is a high-end residential skyscraper constructed in Makati, Philippines. It is the second of several building projects built in the new Century City area along Kalayaan Avenue. It is one of the Philippines' tallest buildings. The Knightsbridge Residences at Century City takes its name after the most expensive neighborhood in London, Knightsbridge.

Trump Tower Manila, also known as Trump Tower at Century City, is a residential building located in Makati, Metro Manila, Philippines. The Trump Tower Manila showroom opened in early 2012, although the company has said that unit reservations started in September 2011. Groundbreaking of the building began in June 2012, with a scheduled opening in November 2017. Construction was nearly finished as of November 2016. The $150 million tower stands 57 stories high on completion. The building is located at the Century City mixed-use complex in Makati Poblacion. It is the third tallest building in the Philippines and second tallest in the Makati skyline.

Makati Avenue is a major commercial thoroughfare in Makati, Metro Manila, Philippines. Chino Roces Avenue, formerly known as Pasong Tamo, is a prominent north–south road in the cities of Makati and Taguig, Metro Manila, Philippines It runs for 5.80 kilometers from Olympia and Tejeros to Fort Bonifacio. The avenue is named after Joaquin "Chino" Roces, journalist, founder of The Manila Times and Associated Broadcasting Company, and an opposition figure during the Marcos Sr. administration. J. P. Rizal Avenue, also known as J. P. Rizal Street, is a major local avenue in Makati, Metro Manila, Philippines.
