Cephas Zhuwao (born 15 December 1984) is a Zimbabwean international cricketer. He bats left-handed and bowls slow left arm orthodox spin.
Zhuwao made his first-class debut for Northerns in May 2007,having made his limited-overs debut in January 2006.
Despite having played well against a Pakistan academy side,he was a surprise selection for the Zimbabwean national side in October 2008. [1] [2] He made his International Twenty20 debut in the 2008 Quadrangular Twenty20 Series in Canada against Canada, [3] also playing against Pakistan. Played as an opening batsman,he scored twelve runs in three innings. Even though he bowled just two balls in the tournament,he took the final wicket of the third-place playoff against Canada in a 109-run victory. [4]
Following this tournament,Zhuwao made his One Day International (ODI) debut against Ireland on 17 October 2008 in Nairobi,Kenya. Again opening the innings,he scored 16 runs in a 156-run victory. [5]
In November 2017,he scored his maiden first-class century,batting for Mashonaland Eagles against Mid West Rhinos in the 2017–18 Logan Cup. [6] He finished as the leading run-scorer for the tournament,with 821 runs in seven matches. [7]
In February 2018,almost ten years after his one and only ODI appearance to date,Zhuwao was added to Zimbabwe's squad for the 2018 Cricket World Cup Qualifier. [8] In September 2018,he was named in Zimbabwe's squad for the 2018 Africa T20 Cup tournament. [9] In December 2020,he was selected to play for the Southern Rocks in the 2020–21 Logan Cup. [10] [11]

He is known for his unorthodox shots especially his ability to play upper cuts over the third man and ramp shots with elegance and are often considered as his trademark signature shots. His style of play and ability to make substantial contribution with the bat often drew comparisons with that of Andy Flower. He represented Zimbabwe in four ICC T20 World Cup tournaments in 2007,2010,2012 and 2014. Also,he represented Zimbabwe in three ICC ODI world cups as well in 2007,2011 and 2015.
Sean Colin Williams is a Zimbabwean international cricketer who is a former captain of the national team in Test cricket. He plays Tests and One Day Internationals,and formerly T20Is,primarily as a batting all-rounder. In September 2019,Zimbabwe Cricket named him as Zimbabwe's captain,after Hamilton Masakadza retired from international cricket. Later the same month,Williams captained Zimbabwe for the first time,in the opening Twenty20 International (T20I) match of the 2019–20 Singapore Tri-Nation Series,against Nepal.
Chamunorwa Justice "Chamu" Chibhabha is a Zimbabwean cricketer who bats right-handed and bowls right-arm medium pace. In January 2020,Zimbabwe Cricket named him as the captain of Zimbabwe's One Day International (ODI) and Twenty20 International (T20I) squads on an interim basis.

The Southern Rocks is one of five Zimbabwean cricket franchises. They are a first-class cricket team,based in the Masvingo and Matabeleland South area. They play their home matches at Masvingo Sports Club in Masvingo. The team initially ceased to play after the 2013–14 season. In their 47 first-class matches they won 3,lost 27,and drew 17. However,in December 2020,Zimbabwe Cricket confirmed they would be one of the teams playing in the 2020–21 Logan Cup Southern Rocks won their first Logan Cup trophy in the same 2020–21 season.
Tendai Larry Chatara is an international cricketer who represents the Zimbabwe national cricket team. A tall,wiry fast bowler with appreciable pace and the ability to move the ball away from the right-hander,Chatara rose quickly to prominence after his first-class debut for Mountaineers in 2009.
Sikandar Raza Butt is a Pakistani-born Zimbabwean international cricketer. He is an all-rounder,who bats right-handed and bowls right arm off-spin. He made his international debut for Zimbabwe in May 2013 and is the first player from his country to score a T20I century.
Shaiman Anwar Butt is a former cricketer who played for the United Arab Emirates national cricket team. A powerful right-handed top-order batsman,he made his debut for the United Arab Emirates national side in December 2010,having previously represented Sialkot and Servis Industries in Pakistani domestic tournaments. In March 2021,Shaiman was found guilty of corruption and banned from all cricket for eight years.
