Ch'usiqani (Aymara ch'usiqa (barn) owl, [2] -ni a suffix to indicate ownership, "the one with the owl (or owls)", also spelled Chusekani, erroneously also Chudexani) is a 3,612-metre-high (11,850 ft) mountain in the Bolivian Andes. It is located in the Chuquisaca Department, Oropeza Province, Poroma Municipality. [1] [3]

Aymara language native language in South America

Aymara is an Aymaran language spoken by the Aymara people of the Andes. It is one of only a handful of Native American languages with over one million speakers. Aymara, along with Spanish, is one of the official languages of Bolivia and parts of Peru. It is also spoken, to a much lesser extent, by some communities in northern Chile, where it is a recognized minority language.

In linguistics, a suffix is an affix which is placed after the stem of a word. Common examples are case ending, which indicate the grammatical cased of nouns or adjectives, and verb endings, which form the conjugation of verbs.

Chusiqani

Ch'usiqani is a mountain northeast of the Apolobamba mountain range in the Andes of Bolivia, about 4,260 metres (13,976 ft) high. It is located in the La Paz Department, Franz Tamayo Province, in the north of the Pelechuco Municipality. Ch'usiqani lies near the Peruvian border, west of Yawa Yawa and southeast of Chawpi Wayq'u.
