Christopher Roger Bartley (born 2 February 1984) is a British rower who competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics and 2016 Summer Olympics. [1]
Bartley was educated at The King's School, Chester, where he was schoolmates with fellow Olympian Tom James, [2] and studied biology at the University of Nottingham. [3]
Bartley was part of the British squad that topped the medal table at the 2011 World Rowing Championships in Bled, where he won a bronze medal as part of the lightweight coxless four with Richard Chambers, Paul Mattick and Rob Williams. [4] He won a silver medal at the 2012 Olympic Games as part of the men's lightweight four, with Peter Chambers, Rob Williams and Richard Chambers.
He competed at the 2013 World Rowing Championships in Chungju, where he won a bronze medal as part of the lightweight coxless four with Adam Freeman-Pask, Will Fletcher and Jono Clegg. [5] The following year he competed at the 2014 World Rowing Championships in Bosbaan, Amsterdam, where he won a bronze medal as part of the lightweight coxless four with Mark Aldred, Peter Chambers and Richard Chambers. [6]
In 2016 he was selected for the British Olympic team and competed in the men's lightweight coxless four event with Jono Clegg, Mark Aldred and Peter Chambers, finishing in seventh place. [7]
Thomas James MBE is a British rower, twice Olympic champion and victorious Cambridge Blue. In a British coxless four in 2012 he set a world's best time which still stood as of 2021.
Matthew Langridge is a British rower. At the 2012 Summer Olympics in London he was part of the British crew that won the bronze medal in the men's eight. He was the 2015 European Champion in the men's pair, along with James Foad. At the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro he was part of the British crew that won the gold medal in the men's eight.
Ian Andrew Wright is a former New Zealand rower who won an Olympic bronze medal at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul. Wright won 31 national titles during his career. After his rowing career ended, he became a coach and his Swiss lightweight men's four team won gold at the 2016 Summer Olympics. He was announced as Australia's head rowing coach in September 2016. He immediately coached the Australian men's four to a gold medal at the 2017 world rowing championships in Sarasota, Florida.

Richard Scott Chambers is a British rower, and is the brother of fellow rower Peter Chambers. At the 2012 Summer Olympics in London he was part of the British crew that won the silver medal in the lightweight men's four.
Peter Moir Haining is a Scottish-born rower and three-time World Lightweight Sculling Champion who competed for Great Britain and England.

Thomas Matthew Ransley is a retired British rower. At the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro he was part of the British crew that won the gold medal in the eight, was twice a World Champion and in 2015 was the European Champion in the men's coxless four.
Jacob Jepsen Barsøe is a Danish rower who won a silver medal at the 2016 Summer Olympics and bronze medal at the 2012 Summer Olympics, both in the men's lightweight sculls.
Simon Schürch is a Swiss rower. He won gold at the 2016 Rio Olympics in the men's lightweight four, with the team being coached by New Zealander Ian Wright. He also competed in the Men's lightweight coxless four event at the 2012 Summer Olympics.
Martino Goretti is an Italian representative lightweight rower, a current (2019) world champion and a dual Olympian. He has represented at senior World Rowing Championships and World Rowing Cups consistently from 2005 to 2019. He is a four time world champion at the senior level who won three titles in Italian lightweight eights from 2005 to 2009 and then in 2019 won the lightweight single scull world title. He had previously won underage world championships as a junior and an U23.
Thomas Baroukh is a French rower. He competed in the Men's lightweight coxless four event at the 2012 Summer Olympics, finishing in 7th. At the 2016 Olympics, he was part of the French lightweight coxless four that won the bronze medal. The same team, consisting of Baroukh, Franck Solforosi, Guillaume Raineau and Thibault Colard, also won the bronze medal at the 2015 World Rowing Championships and bronze at the 2015 European Rowing Championships. Baroukh's previous team, which included Solforosi, Raineau and Augustin Mouterde won the bronze at the 2013 and 2014 European Championships. Baroukh and Mouterde won the silver medal in the men's lightweight pair at the 2014 World Rowing Championships.
Adam Freeman-Pask is a British rower. He is a World Bronze medalist and European Silver medalist. He participated in the 2012 Summer Olympics In London.
Mark David Aldred is a British rower who competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio.
Jonathan Clegg known as Jono Clegg is a British rower who competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics. Clegg competed at the 2013 World Rowing Championships in Chungju, where he won a bronze medal as part of the lightweight coxless four with Adam Freeman-Pask, Will Fletcher and Chris Bartley. The following year he competed at the 2014 World Rowing Championships in Bosbaan, Amsterdam, where he won a bronze medal as part of the lightweight coxless pair with Sam Scrimgeour.
William Fletcher is a retired British rower who competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics.
Andrea Re is an Italian lightweight rower. With eight gold medals at World Rowing Championships, he is one of the most successful rowers ever. He represented Italy at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, USA.
