Chundangapoyil Puthiyapurayil Rizwan (19 April 1988) is an Indian-born cricketer who plays for the United Arab Emirates national cricket team. [1] He has played for the UAE national cricket team since 2019 and was appointed Twenty20 International captain in 2022.
He made his One Day International (ODI) debut for the United Arab Emirates against Nepal on 26 January 2019. [2] In January 2019, he was named in the UAE Twenty20 International (T20I) squad for their series against Nepal. [3] He made his T20I debut against Nepal on 31 January 2019. [4]
In December 2020, he was one of ten cricketers to be awarded a year-long part-time contract by the Emirates Cricket Board. [5] The following month, in the UAE's first fixture against Ireland, Rizwan scored his first century in an ODI match. [6] [7]
In August 2022, Rizwan was appointed to succeeded Ahmed Raza as the UAE's Twenty20 International captain, with his first major tournament being the 2022 Asia Cup Qualifier in Oman. [8]
Rizwan was born in Tellicherry, Kerala, India. [1] His father moved to the UAE in the 1980s, and when he was two years old the family moved to Sharjah, where his younger sisters were born. Rizwan later returned to India to study engineering in Kochi, [9] playing cricket for Kerala at the under-19 and under-23 levels. He moved back to the UAE in 2014 to work, as an electrical engineer with Bukhatir Group. [10]

Muhammad Usman is a Pakistani-born cricketer who plays for the United Arab Emirates national cricket team. He made his first-class debut against the Netherlands in the 2015–17 ICC Intercontinental Cup on 21 January 2016. Usman's List A debut was also against the Netherlands, in the 2015–17 ICC World Cricket League Championship, on 27 January 2016. His Twenty20 International debut too was against the Netherlands on 3 February 2016. Usman made his One Day International debut against Scotland on 14 August 2016 in the 2015–17 ICC World Cricket League Championship.
Mohammad Boota is a Pakistani-born cricketer who plays for the United Arab Emirates national cricket team. He made his List A debut for the United Arab Emirates against Nepal in the 2015–17 ICC World Cricket League Championship on 6 December 2017.

Karthik Palaniapan Meiyappan is an Indian-born cricketer who plays for the United Arab Emirates national cricket team as a right-arm leg spin bowler. He made his One Day International (ODI) debut for the UAE in 2019 and also represented the UAE at the 2020 Under-19 Cricket World Cup. Meiyappan made history being the first ever UAE player to take a hat-trick, the first UAE player to take a hat-trick in a T20 World Cup, and the first player from an ICC associate member to take a hat-trick against an ICC full member.
Basil bin Abdul Hameed is an Indian-born cricketer who plays for the United Arab Emirates national cricket team. In December 2019, he was named in the One Day International (ODI) squad for the 2019 United Arab Emirates Tri-Nation Series. He made his ODI debut against the United States on 8 December 2019.

The United Arab Emirates cricket team toured Oman in February 2022 to play three One Day International (ODI) matches at the Oman Cricket Academy Ground in Muscat.
