Turner syndrome (TS), also known 45,X, or 45,X0, is a genetic condition in which a female is partly or completely missing an X chromosome. Signs and symptoms vary among those affected. Often, a short and webbed neck, low-set ears, low hairline at the back of the neck, short stature, and swollen hands and feet are seen at birth. Typically, they develop menstrual periods and breasts only with hormone treatment, and are unable to have children without reproductive technology. Heart defects, diabetes, and low thyroid hormone occur more frequently. Most people with TS have normal intelligence, however many have troubles with spatial visualization that may be needed for mathematics. Vision and hearing problems occur more often.

Turner Broadcasting System, Inc. is an American television and media conglomerate, part of AT&T's WarnerMedia. Founded by Ted Turner and based in Atlanta, Georgia, it merged with Time Warner on October 10, 1996. Among its main properties were its namesake TBS, TNT, CNN, Turner Classic Movies (TCM), Cartoon Network and Adult Swim, and TruTV. It also licensed or had ownership interests in international versions of these properties. The headquarters of Turner's properties are located in both the CNN Center in Downtown Atlanta, and the Turner Broadcasting campus off Techwood Drive in Midtown Atlanta, which also houses Turner Studios.

Dorsey Emmet's Gaelic Football Club is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in the hamlet of Dorsey and the surrounding area of Lower Creggan parish, in the rural south of County Armagh, Northern Ireland. Affiliated to Armagh GAA, it fields football teams at Under-8, U-10 and senior level, and is also involved in Ladies' Gaelic football. The senior men's team plays in the Armagh Junior Football Championship and in the Intermediate League.

An Cumann Gaelach is a type of student society found in many colleges and universities in Ireland. Several of these societies were founded in the early 1900s as part of a wider revival of the language, which saw the establishment of national groups such as Conradh na Gaeilge. Although the societies are not formally linked, they operate in a similar manner through the facilitating of Irish classes, céilís and trips to the Gaeltacht, while many hold events in March during Seachtain na Gaeilge. Some societies also take part in the annual Glór na nGael competition, which gives awards to third level groups for their work in the promotion of the Irish language. Coordinated by Foras na Gaeilge, the competition includes a specific category for colleges and universities. In 2016, the University of Glasgow's Cumann Gaelach Ollscoil Ghlaschú was reputedly the first Cumann Gaelach to be founded outside of Ireland.

Oireachtas na Gaeilge is an annually held arts festival of Irish culture, which has run since the 1890s. Based on the Welsh Eisteddfod, Oireachtas na Gaeilge runs for one week, featuring performances, demonstrations and competitions. The festival is held in two portions: a visual arts festival in April/May and the festival proper on the last weekend of October or the first of November, when more than 10,000 people attend the seven-day event. In 2007, the festival was held at Westport. The 2008 festival took place in the Cork city suburb of Douglas, the local support committee was under the chairmanship of Peadar Ó Riada, son of the composer and founder of the male choir Cór Chúil Aodha, Seán Ó Riada.

An Ghaeltacht is a Gaelic Athletic Association club from County Kerry. The club competes in the Kerry Intermediate Football Championship. The Club also competes in the West Kerry Football Championship, Division 1 of the Kerry County League and the annual All Ireland Comórtas Peile na Gaeltachta.

Rinn Ó gCuanach CLG is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in the Irish speaking (Gaeltacht) area of Ring, County Waterford, Ireland. The club enters teams of both GAA codes each year, which includes two adult Gaelic football teams and two adult Hurling teams in the Waterford County Championships. It is one of a handful of dual clubs at senior level in the county, competing in the Senior Hurling and Senior Football championships. The club's second string teams take part in the Waterford Junior Hurling & Football championships.
