Dancing with the Stars returned for a sixth series on 8 January 2023 on RTÉ One.

On 25 August 2022, Nicky Byrne announced that he would be stepping down as host after five seasons to focus on touring commitments with his band, Westlife. [1] On 7 October, Doireann Garrihy was announced as his replacement joining Jennifer Zamparelli as co-host. [2]

This season also saw professional dancer, and two-time reigning champion, Pasquale La Rocca announce his departure from the show as he joined the Italian version of the format, Ballando con le Stelle . [3] On 28 November 2022, all other professional dancers were confirmed to be returning to the series from the previous year, they were joined by new professional dancer, Michael Danilczuk, whom previously that year had finished as runner-up in his native version in Poland, Taniec z gwiazdami. [4]

It was announced on 22 January, due to unforeseen circumstances, professional dancer, Maurizio Benenato had left the show. He was replaced with former Dancing with the Stars Ireland professional and reigning Taniec z gwiazdami champion, Robert Rowiński. [5]

The final on 19 March 2023, was won by Carl Mullan alongside partner Emily Barker. [6] This was Barker's final series as a professional dancer.

Couples

On 1 December 2022, Brooke Scullion, Panti Bliss, Paul Brogan and Suzanne Jackson were announced as the first four celebrities to take part. [7]

The 20th season of Taniec z gwiazdami, the Polish edition of Dancing With the Stars, started on 3 March 2017. This is the seventh season aired on Polsat. Krzysztof Ibisz and Paulina Sykut-Jeżyna returned as hosts and Beata Tyszkiewicz, Iwona Pavlović, Michał Malitowski and Andrzej Grabowski returned as judges.

Dancing with the Stars returned for a second series on 7 January 2018 on RTÉ One. Loraine Barry, Brian Redmond and Julian Benson returned to the judging panel for a second year, while Amanda Byram and Nicky Byrne also returned as hosts.

Dancing with the Stars is an Irish reality television series, airing on RTÉ One that started on 8 January 2017, hosted by Amanda Byram and Nicky Byrne. The show is based on the original UK version, and is part of the Dancing with the Stars franchise. The judging panel consists of Julian Benson, Loraine Barry and Brian Redmond.

The 21st season of Taniec z gwiazdami, the Polish edition of Dancing With the Stars, started on 2 March 2018. This is the eighth season aired on Polsat. Paulina Sykut-Jeżyna and Krzysztof Ibisz returned as hosts and Iwona Pavlović, Michał Malitowski and Andrzej Grabowski returned as judges. Ola Jordan replaced Beata Tyszkiewicz as the fourth judge.

The 23nd season of Taniec z gwiazdami, the Polish edition of Dancing with the Stars, started on 13 September 2019. This is the tenth season aired on Polsat. Paulina Sykut-Jeżyna and Krzysztof Ibisz returned as host and Iwona Pavlović, Michał Malitowski and Andrzej Grabowski returned as judges. Ola Jordan did not return as a judge.

Dancing with the Stars returned for a fourth series which began on 5 January 2020 on RTÉ One.

The 24th season of Taniec z gwiazdami, the Polish edition of Dancing with the Stars, started on 6 March 2020 and stopped on 13 March 2020 to 4 September of that year due COVID-19 pandemic. This is the eleventh season aired on Polsat.

The 25th season of Taniec z gwiazdami, the Polish edition of Dancing with the Stars, will start on 30 August 2021. This will be the twelfth season aired on Polsat. For the first time show will be aired on Mondays. Krzysztof Ibisz, Paulina Sykut-Jeżyna and new presenter Izabela Janachowska will be the hosts. Iwona Pavlović, Michał Malitowski and Andrzej Grabowski will return as judges, Andrzej Piaseczny will join as the fourth judge.

Dancing with the Stars returned for a fifth series on 9 January 2022 on RTÉ One. This was the first series in two years after the show was put on a year-long hiatus during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The 26th season of Taniec z gwiazdami, the Polish edition of Dancing with the Stars, was broadcast from 29 August to 31 October 2022. It was the thirteenth season aired on Polsat. For the second time the show was aired on Mondays. Iwona Pavlović, Michał Malitowski, Andrzej Grabowski and Andrzej Piaseczny will return as judges. Krzysztof Ibisz, Paulina Sykut-Jeżyna and Izabela Janachowska will reprise their role as hosts.

Dancing with the Stars returned for a seventh series on 7 January 2024 on RTÉ One.

The 28th season of Taniec z gwiazdami, the Polish edition of Dancing with the Stars, began on 15 September 2024. It’s the fifteenth season aired on Polsat. Iwona Pavlović, Rafał Maserak, Ewa Kasprzyk and Tomasz Wygoda returned as judges. Krzysztof Ibisz and Paulina Sykut-Jeżyna reprised their role as hosts.
