Delrey is an unincorporated community in Iroquois County, in the U.S. state of Illinois. [1]
A post office was established at Delrey in 1854, and remained in operation until the 1950s. [2] The community's name commemorates the Battle of Molino del Rey in the Mexican–American War. [3]

It is the only county in the United States to be named Iroquois, after the American Indian people. The county seat is Watseka. The county is located along the border with Indiana.
