Dicranocaris is an extinct genus of arachnomorph [1] [2] , possibly a megacheiran [ citation needed ], that lived in the Wheeler Shale formation [4] of what is now modern day Utah [2] during Stage 4 of the Cambrian period, around 513 Ma. [1] It may be synonymous with Dytikosicula [5] , another possible megacheiran.

The type and only species is Dicranocaris guntherorum. [1] [2]
