Dietmar Haaf (born 6 March 1967 in Bad Cannstatt) is a former (West) German long jumper.
He won the gold medal at the 1990 European Championships in Split in a personal best jump of 8.25 metres. The following year he won the gold medal at the World Indoor Championships in Seville. He finished fourth at the 1991 World Championships in Athletics in Tokyo.
His personal best jump of 8.25 metres ranks him seventh among German long jumpers, behind Lutz Dombrowski, Frank Paschek, Josef Schwarz, Henry Lauterbach, Marco Delonge and Konstantin Krause. [1] [2]

Rosemarie "Rosi" Ackermann is a German former high jumper, Olympic champion and multiple world record holder. In Berlin on 26 August 1977, she became the first female high jumper to clear a height of two metres.
Florian Schwarthoff is a former German hurdler best known for winning a bronze medal at the 1996 Summer Olympics. Schwarthoff had his best season in 1995 when set a new German record of 13.05 sec. in Bremen. He was expected to compete for a silver or bronze medal at the World Championships in Gothenburg behind the overwhelming favourite Allen Johnson from the United States. However, Schwarthoff did not finish the semi-final as he fell over a hurdle. Schwarthoff remained for several years a world class hurdler but never won a gold medal.

Carlo Thränhardt is a retired German high jumper. He excelled at indoor competitions, setting the world indoor record on three occasions between 1984 and 1988. His best mark of 2.42 metres ranks him second on the indoor all-time list one-centimetre behind world record holder Javier Sotomayor of Cuba. The only superior outdoor performances are Sotomayor's world record of 2.45 m, and Mutaz Essa Barshim's clearance of 2.43 m in 2014. Like all modern high jumpers, Thränhardt used the Fosbury Flop style, but of the 16 men in history to have cleared 2.40 m or higher, he was only the second to do so jumping off his right leg. The first was Igor Paklin. At the European Indoor Championships, he won a gold medal in 1983 and four silver medals. Outdoors, his best championship result was winning a bronze medal at the 1986 European Championships. He also reached the Olympic finals in 1984 and 1988.
Andrea Philipp is a retired German sprinter. A three-time Olympian, she won a bronze medal in the 200 metres at the 1999 World Championships, and a gold medal in the 100 metres at the 1990 World Junior Championships.
