Dream Wife is the debut studio album by the British punk rock band Dream Wife, released via Lucky Number in January 2018. [3]
On 28 October 2016, the band released the first single from the album, "F.U.U." [1] The music video to the single was released on 8 March 2018, and features Fever Dream and directed by Aidan Zamiri. [4]
On 31 January 2017, Dream Wife explained they were halfway to completing their debut album, while recording it at a studio in Notting Hill. [5]
The second single "Somebody" was announced on 8 March 2017. The band described the single as "a conversation on the reclamation of bodies by the women who occupy them in a tender, yet direct, and empowering way". [2] The music video to the single was released on 29 March 2017, and was directed by John Podpadec and filmed in Wedmore. [6]
On 15 August 2017, the third single "Fire" was announced. [7] The music video for the single was released on 6 September 2017. [8] The single was made into an EP on 27 September 2017, which got rave reviews from critics. [9]
On 25 October 2017, Dream Wife announced the release of their new album, along with the fourth single "Let's Make Out". [10]

Upon its release, Dream Wife received "generally favorable reviews" according to Metacritic who gave the album a score of 77/100 based on 16 reviews from critics. [12] Aggregator Album of the Year gave the release an 81 out of 100 based on a critical consensus of 22 reviews. [23]

Arctic Monkeys are an English rock band formed in Sheffield in 2002. The group consists of lead singer Alex Turner, drummer Matt Helders, guitarist Jamie Cook and bassist Nick O'Malley; bassist and co-founder Andy Nicholson left the band in 2006.
Everything Everything are an English art rock band from Manchester that formed in late 2007. Noted for their eclectic sound and complex, avant-garde-inspired lyrics, the band has released seven albums to date — Man Alive (2010),Arc (2013),Get to Heaven (2015),A Fever Dream (2017),Re-Animator (2020), Raw Data Feel (2022) and Mountainhead (2024) — and has been widely critically acclaimed. Simbiatu "Simbi" Abisola Abiola Ajikawo, better known by her stage name Little Simz, is an English-Nigerian rapper. She rose to prominence with the independent release of her first three albums: A Curious Tale of Trials + Persons (2015), Stillness in Wonderland (2016) and Grey Area (2019), the last of which was shortlisted for the Mercury Prize and won the awards for Best Album at both the Ivor Novello Awards and the NME Awards.
English Graffiti is the third studio album by English rock band The Vaccines. It was produced by Dave Fridmann, with co-production from Cole M. Greif-Neill at Fridmann's New York studio. The album was released on 25 May 2015 through Columbia Records and charted at #2 upon release. The album marked the band's first release in two years, following the Melody Calling EP, and their first full studio album release in three, following Come of Age in 2012. Young stated that Fridmann was chosen due to both his track record in making "consistently fantastic records". It is the last album recorded with drummer Pete Robertson, who left the band after completing their 2016 U.S. tour.
Bridie Monds-Watson, better known by the stage name Soak, is a singer-songwriter from Derry, Northern Ireland. Soak's music has been described as 'a vivid portrait of teenage deep-thinking' by The Guardian. They released their debut studio album Before We Forgot How to Dream in May 2015. "Soak" is a phonetic portmanteau of "soul" and "folk".
Benjamin Gerard Coyle-Larner, known professionally as Loyle Carner, is an English hip hop musician.
