Duncan is a census-designated place (CDP) in Hancock County, Iowa, United States. The population was 131 at the 2010 census. [2]
Duncan was platted in 1900. [3] The community's population was 25 in 1902, [4] and 20 in 1925. [5]
Duncan is located at 43°6′16″N93°42′40″W / 43.10444°N 93.71111°W , [6] 4.6 miles (7.4 km) east of Britt and 5.4 miles (8.7 km) west of Garner, along U.S. Route 18.

Duncan is a part of the Garner–Hayfield–Ventura Community School District. It was previously in the Garner–Hayfield Community School District, [8] which merged into the current GHV district on July 1, 2015. [9]
